I think the algorithm gives priority to drivers who have been delivering for awhile and have lots of deliveries/high ratings. You just gotta build up your stats and try evening/night and morning for weekends

Good working, man. I really think doing deliveries is like the perfect job for motorbike enthusiasts. It’s like riding for free.

When I use to do deliveries in that area I would wait in Fontana on sierra. You don't have to drive around constantly. Just park and wait close to a bunch of restaurants. And busy times is 12-2 pm and 5-9 .. I've been doing Uber eats since 2018

I hope you keep at these deliveries dude! I watch a bunch of these channels, mostly in London, and I really enjoy watching them. It will depend on how feasible it is for orders around you, but factoring in the youtube money you stand to make some decent change on the side. yo bxd here’s some tips- you can decline as many orders as you like if the payout is too low, it doesn’t affect anything. just be careful about cancelling orders after you’ve accepted them but if you haven’t accepted it then it doesn’t matter how many you decline. if you get accepted on doordash have them both running at the same time and stack orders going the same direction, double the money for about the same amount of work. also the speed limit tab on uber is useless, you can be doing 80 in a 55 and the app won’t give you any trouble

I do Doordash and Uber Eats and what you say about Friday's and Weekend night's is so true. Normal weekday night, I'll make about $50, but I've made upwards of $200 in my area on a Friday night so you could probably do even better since you're in CA. To give another hot tip: For example; a Chick Fil-A is a hotspot during lunch hours, but they get so swarmed with other customers/drivers, it'll take much longer to complete those orders than the seemingly less popular places so you'll spend a LOT more time waiting rather than being on the move and making money. A lot of it is trial and error and knowing which restaurants' staff and management have their stuff together and which ones will take 20 minutes to bring out a sandwich and fries.

When I used to Ubereats I would hangout in a plazas that had many restaurants. But even then I’d still hang around and wait for orders sometimes. Like you said it depends on the day and time. I used to do dinner time until like midnight or so. I would also decline orders that weren’t at least $5 and even then I would look at the miles per dollar. Look forward to you vids brother! Cheah!!

I watch London Eats on RU-vid, he does it a side hustle to his job, but makes decent money, he's always sharing tips and advice, I know it's not in America but he's worth a watch either way if you like watching that stuff. He's using an electric moped, so his fuel cost tiny, he makes really good videos though. But give it a shot man, may make for some interest vids.

DoorDash prioritizes a few things, but a big one is the Proximity To Location. So by riding past all the locations you are helping your odds that whether it's a China King Noodle or whether it's a Dunkin Donuts that the next customer orders that you're right there at the Pickup Spot already.

Hey baker I don’t follow you but I check in once in awhile! Your awesome bro 😎 been around since the 636 try door dash it gets busier! Open your app in a different city and try to dash then when the area is dark red it means it’s open and has orders. Business districts and university areas.

I used to deliver for doordash on a kitted Tomos and normally made between 45-60hr it's totally worth it. Best advice would be deliver at night and hangout at a 24/7 McDonald's or something similar.

so i worked for grubhub in colorado and i would drive to hot spots and orders would come in. when you move up the orders come more frequent and they pay better. but for me i had a car so i was going through gas and learned that the income was not enough for a living. by the time i got orders done i was filling my tank again. Also i got mutiple orders in one go and they would also ping orders in the area. so you could be on one and get another one at the same time

I just started doing this on my bike because I need some extra cash and I’ve been amazed by how much I’ve made lol. As some others have mentioned, lunchtime and dinner are you hot times, you can get caught sitting around at other times. Drink are also our kryptonite. Saran Wrap has been my solution

10:36 From experience with DoorDash, the speeding thing is just to tell ya heyo, speed limit is under what you're doing. DoorDash just uses the color scheme that Google Maps uses, where it'll be a red speed number if you're cookin it.

@bakerXderek can you show all the steps required to join Uber eats and what type of gear you'd need. Does Uber check to make sure you have your license, registration and insurance? Planning on getting my first bike soon and wouldn't mind doing so.

From what I been told by numerous driver's is whoever is closest to the establishment first will get the delivery.. The driver doesn't have to accept the delivery they can deny it and it will go to the next closest person.. Some driver's don't want to do the cheaper deliveries they rather wait for more expensive deliveries..

Also the total pay they give you is including the tip. So if the order says 11 dollars for 6 miles. Uber usually only pays the base pay. And the rest is the tip. But if the customer doesn't tip, then it will be all Uber base pay and you will see the full payout when you complete the order. Unless the customer tips cash or adds tip in the app

Uber eats is pretty slow up in my area. Doordash is more "consistent" with orders. It'll take you a bit to figure out the hours to go out at. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner times.

The first time I did uber eats I also drove to a hotspot thinking it was an order lol. I've noticed weekend nights and rainy nights are busier.

I recommend trying it again when you can use doordash aswell because its not really worth it unless you're doing both uber eats and doordash at the same time. usually when there's no orders on one of them the other will have some for you to do.

I done uber delivery once, it's easy well the one I got was. Less than a mile away. Yes watch the speed I think you do get a warning or something if you drive to fast

I did this for over 5 years, it was fun and I made alot using my motorcycle. Youll learn how to work the apps soon and get into multi apping. You can make alot, juat gotta learn how to work it. Cherry picking helps alot.

Also, sometimes Uber will give you long distance orders. You might think wow this is a good order but you have to consider the mileage going and coming back. I e received orders all the way up to Lake Arrowhead for $35 bucks for like 28 miles. But it’s 28 miles to come back down. So I wouldn’t take those orders. Especially when you have bad weather. Hit me up for more tips. I’ve been doing this for like 3 years.

i drove lyft for several years. honestly there are a lot of pros and cons that have to be balanced. for me, i like riding/driving and can probably do it for fun as much as i did it for work so being in my vehicle so much was a comfortable environment and made the experience that much more worth it for me. BUT the least desirable aspects for me were that taxes arent taken out as you go so realistically, you need to prepare to pay out roughly 25-33% of essentially ever single order. BUTTT if you have an LLC or some other business setup that you do your taxes under, ALL expenses for gas, tires, maintenance costs ( if you did lyft during Covid like i did, hand sanitizer, lotion, fucN candy for your passengers) can be put under business expenses and you basically get all the tax revenue that was spent on those things back after you file. BUTTT you definitely gotta keep up with all those expenses and proof of expenses because they can audit your ass. any i enjoyed it for the most part. kinda like running your own business in a sense. i used to sleep all day and drive all night(gotta make those hours work for you and yours). pretty cool gig but financial responsibility - and a bit of financial literacy- are key to making the most out of it.

Since you know your area really good. Pay attention to the miles and the area your delivering to. Sometimes Uber sends you really far away and you have to drive back to the good areas. The best is to take short distance orders. But find what's best for you

Bro you might wanna just turn the app on from home then wait till you get something, and if you wanna do it for a few hours just start early and dont turn down any orders, even the orders that pay less than $15 you will eventually get paid that the minimun because of gig job laws.

But they also pay you a minimum for the time your out haven’t done it for a while so I’m not too sure about that now but Friday Saturday And Sunday Sunday. Holidays u usually get like a bonus. 2 dollars or 4 extra per delivery. Go out when ppl wanna eat breakfast lunch dinner. Plus you already just drive around on RU-vid might aswell do Uber eats while you do it it’s genius lol
