Because pricing changes, I will not answer questions about how much I paid for my belts. For pricing, please contact Classic Shields directly on Facebook, or at classic.pak@gmail.com
Just Beautiful. What I love the most is you kept things old school when titles really had designs and prestige instead of an big W in the middle. Also got the real leather attitude era one.. in person it’s even more of a Beauty.
@@donnylovedbowling what i meant to say is that's my favorite of all the world title belts. My favorite of all belts has always been the attitude IC belt. It always looked the most elegant to me. I guess I like the attitude era belts best because the attitude era was when they started making the belts gold more proportional to the straps on them
Nice dude!!! All world titles aye, you gotta show some love to the blue collar belts lol. No mid card or tag titles? “Wassup wit dat” in hurricane helms voice 🤣
Dude, if I let myself get any mid-card titles, there would be no end to it. WCW US, WCW TV, WWF Tag, Classic IC, purple strap oval IC, green strap European... the list goes on. It is because I have no will power that I can not allow myself to get a belt that isn’t a world title.
nice collection. im surprised u dont have the classic ic title of 1980s-98 but that is your preference. i currently have 4 myself and just ordered 2 more to be delivered to me. and i plan on finishing up later in the year with the wcw big gold world title(as i have the wwe's world heavyweight title version)and maybe the smoking skull or hopefully find the powder blue ic title that hbk had in late 92 early 93
Sick bro I would call it a complete collection for me with the winged eagle, big eagle(scratch logo), wcw heavyweight (crumline), Nd the undisputed championship. The big four
@@donnylovedbowling hey grant 👋🏼 So I ordered from classic shields however they didn’t receive my payment Nd I was curious when you ordered? Was your method of payment PayPal?
I forgot to add the white intercontinental title that shawn had would be prob my preference but if anything the 90s black strap version over the 80s one with the red logo but i think maybe winged eagle.
Grant, what a great collection. I just got the CS winged eagle & they have great leather, they even have their own stamp, the million dollar question is how do u compare CS to ORM in terms of HD Plates and leather. How much better is Romeo Anderson leather then CS or Orm. To me a good leather job is a good leather job. I just can’t see paying Romeo to releather a CS belt in 2021, let me know. Great job as always. Ps, how does Championship dreams stack up to CS. Championship dreams gets classic shields plates and puts it on American leather as I have been told. Thanks
Not familiar with ORM. CS and CD are on the same level. Romeo doesn’t seem to be doing leather anymore, but when he was, his leather was superior to CS. Or at least it used to be, I haven’t seen a newer CS strap.
Hey, great videos. About to place my first order with Classic Shields, not too sure on whether to go with the winged eagle or big eagle as my first. Anyway how long did they take to arrive from oversees? Thanks
So if I was stranded on a desert island and I had to pic just one championship belt, it would have to be the one Kane signed, he’ll be president one day!!
Wow man Its me again and I dont have words to describe your entire collection of belts.... In first place all the original have the wwf logo and thats is just simply amazing man Its all that I want... Where did you get those with the wwf logo??? Because in wwe shop or in the europe shop are with wwe logo... Help me pls man
Dude, if I let myself get any mid-card titles, there would be no end to it. WCW US, WCW TV, WWF Tag, Classic IC, purple strap oval IC, green strap European... the list goes on. It is because I have no willpower that I can not allow myself to get a belt that isn’t a world title.
These are truly the best World titles before they got bad. The only current world title I think has that old school prestigious look is the AEW world title.
Out of curiosity, how much does Classic Shields charge for that Big Gold. I’m a bigger fan of the older belts and NWA/WCW as well. My goal is to get all the WWF belts from 1986 and NWA belts from 1989.
which is your favorite? im not sure which to get as a first..i seem to gravitate to the golden era intercontinental title belt more but i feel maybe i should get the winged eagle. Austin is my favorite, but i still think the winged eagle from the previous era's is best as a first. Also, how di you buy your title, was it on ebay, and how do i know im getting the right belt? does it have to be 4mm? thanks
The Big Gold is my favorite. I bought them directly from Classic Shields, you can just message them directly on Facebook and they’ll take care of you. And no, they can be 4mm, 3mm, maybe even 2.
@@donnylovedbowling whats the difference in mm from each one you described? Also, other then that, what else do i need to look into it when buying a belt? i agree, the big gold is so underrated, even during the 90s wcw run, and the days of evolution.
My figs big gold, winged eagle, smoking skull and undisputed are 4mm. The block logo big eagle is 3mm, the scratch logo big eagle is 2mm. Not sure about the CS big gold, it’s kind of its own thing. probably 4mm.
What is the most efficient way of getting these belts made. There’s tons of options. But I seen your collection some differ (4mm / 3mm) so with having spent the money , if you could do it all over again HOW would you do it ?
Well... I would have Romeo Anderson leather on all of them, just because he’s amazing. I’m sure there are other great leather guys out there too, but Classic Shields leather just isn’t at that same quality yet. As far as thickness, if I had a magic wand, I’d make my winged eagle 3mm and my big eagle 4mm. Usually I just say the thicker the better, but I think the real winged eagle was 3mm. Could be wrong. Otherwise though, yeah, I like the thicker, heavier plates.
Grant Latta I’m not on Facebook (where I hear is the place to get these beautiful pieces of art) but could you tell me if there’s a market for preowned belts ?
There’s a group called Wrestling Belts Collectors, which is where I bought the smoking skull and the undisputed. Classic Shields runs the page, but folks sell a little of everything on there.
Sharpie Metallic Silver. Also, Walmart has (or at least used to have) a generic brand that was even better. Don’t remember the name. But the “metallic” is the key.
@@donnylovedbowling Cool, thanks. How about for the different color ones? Like the pink? I’m trying to get my winged eagle replica from WWEShop signed by Bret Hart next month at Wrestlecon.
So, I don't really like paint pens, even though that's what I ended up using, I think. They're... finicky. If you can find a metallic pink Sharpie (or other marker), try it out on a dark surface of some kind, and if it stands out well enough, go with that. Again, it will have to be metallic, otherwise it'll have no chance of standing out. Anyway, if you can't find one, then get a Sharpie brand medium point pink/rose paint pen. Follow the instructions, shake it up, get it all primed and practice with it on a dark surface, so you can get it just right before giving it to Bret to use. Now, honestly he'll probably already have some markers and pens of his own, I think he did when I met him, so you might not have to worry about it.
Can I ask what you paid for the Figures Inc belts? Hulk Hogans Shop has a belt I want from Figures Inc for $3500. It’s so frustrating because they must be marking it up at least 10x
Goodness gracious. The 4mm, real-leather, limited/numbered-of-500 Ultra Deluxe big gold was $500 brand new. I bought the big eagle second-hand after it was already rare and it was around $500. I don’t know of ANY figs belts that go for anywhere near $3500. Even the super rare ones seem to go for around $800. That’s just.... crazy.
Grant Latta I remember actually getting my Authentic winged Eagle from figures and that was $2500 and they were also selling the big gold for $3500. Don’t know where u can get them now.
The spray painted one is an officially licensed Figures Inc belt, yes. I don't actually think there is a copyright on the original big gold design, though, so unless it has the WWE logo on it, I'm pretty sure all big golds are technically "authentic."
I actually don’t think so. I asked Romeo if the leather was his work, and he said no. And the plates aren’t quite as heavy as my other Classic Shields ones
