That last Ewok's name is Wickett! You did a solid job overall, absolutely astounding. I couldn't even name a FRACTION of these guys off the top of my OWN head! ;)
Love the fact you played with them and are in such good shape. You are a man who cares. Tomorrow I will began building my display!! Thanks for inspiring. 😃
The original Star Wars was a bit before my time but totally dig that vintage and nostalgic vibe. And now that Hasbro is coming out with the retro collection line I’m elated!!!
Wow... such a great display. The condition of them all and also all their accessories is stunning. I truly hope I can get anywhere near that with mine one day.
That G.I. Joe display case is the perfect display case for Star Wars Figures. My Yak face I've had since childhood is mint still with coin and weapon and shall remain that way...he was released here in Australia back in the day
yeah i just saw it too and looked here in the comments if someone else already mentioned it. it is a really rare and expensive variant of the tusken raider.
Thanks so much for keeping and showing your beloved childhood toys. On opening day of Empire, after waiting in line to see the movie we went directly to Toys-r-us and they had people in costume in the store, Darth Vader and stormtroopers. They gave everyone a pack of collectors cards, and I only got one figure, Yoda. Mine has a brown snake I think. I was a starving college student did not have the funds or space to collect then. Still have Yoda though
Dude..amazing collection and LoVE that display case! Thought you were missing one but going senile in my old age. :-) Also love seeing your R2 and 3-PO figures as they were my first 2 figures as a kid and have remained my absolute favorites overall in any line and even tho there's been too many figures for me to collect, I try to get the Droids in every line made! Awesome awesome vid and even more awesome collection!!!!
¡Cool collection, bro! (And posters [The "Revenge" of Jedi, very rare]) Congrat. And just like you: I stiil have figures from 70's and early 80's, and played with them when I was kid too. Greetings. 🤙🏼 5-4
Amazing collection im just starting again on my vintage collection only have 18 at moment and doubt ill ever get the power of the force figures, but love that case and you should be proud of that collection beautiful!
I love your collection and the way you have displayed them. I have nearly all of them now, just have a couple more to collect. I need a display unit like yours, I have been trying to locate one.
Beautiful collection dude. I have a pretty good collection myself. Love that Star Wars nostalgia being a 70s boy and having my mind blown by Star Wars when I first saw it in the Summer of ‘77. I did hear recently that it’s better to keep them out of sunlight, as the light degenerates the plastic quicker but it looks like you have them well protected behind that door. I have to get some kind of display case like your own! Brilliant job! Hello for the UK 🇬🇧
Simply awesome well done 👍. I always get confused how many figs there actually were. Thanks for breaking it down,96 regular release then the special sets like Jabba & Salicious Crumb.
im having horrible flashbacks for three reasons, one, i just gave all my figures and related toys away, my Mum asked me one day in the late 80's if i still wanted my star wars toys and without giving it a second thought, i dont think i even looked up from whatever i was doing, i just said no, 2) im pretty sure all my figures with lightsabres were the telescoping lightsabre versions, and 3) im convinced my jawas were of the vinyl cape variety.
Awesome collection. I still have my figures from when I was a kid. I have the Ewok catapult with Chirpa, Teebo and Logray. I need to buy the other four but prices for them have skyrocketed on the secondary market. Especially Lumat.
@@720zone i just got back into star wars I decided to go with the new vintage collection line , the original stuff u got is sick as hell but theres no way id be able to get everything in the condition you got it , respect to your game bro !
This is a very nice display, and I like the "stealth" nature of it, LOL. It's weird though... I thought there were a LOT more figures that Kenner released.
In 1982, my mother kidnapped me and my sister and took us to Florida. I was 12 and had literally every single Star Wars item released up until that point. I had an original Boba Fett with spring loaded rocket. I had the original IOU package, and of course every original figure, vehicle, and land. I had a great dad, and he enjoyed getting me every new release. That's all I wanted. Star Wars, and baseball and football gear. My parents had an ugly divorce, and dad won custody. But mom couldn't stand losing, and took us away. I remember crying because she did it at night, and I wanted my things. I wanted my boxes of SW stuff, my massive Hot Wheels and Matchbox collection, my sports gear, and thats all. She wouldn't do it. She lied and said as soon as we got to Florida, she'd buy it all again for me. I didn't believe her. Once settled in, instead of buying me what she promised, she lectured me on growing up, and said I didn't need toys. For years I had a cold, unloving mother. She isolated us from our father, and he eventually died in 1991. She stole my childhood and deprived me of a father. And of course I lost my SW collection. It still pisses me off because I intended to collect them, and keep them forever. I knew the value. Today I have no relationship with her. She is just a mean, wicked, sinister woman. She's 82 years old now, and I strived to be the opposite of her. I mean, 6 years ago, when she was 76 years old, a retired cop, her and I went to pick up my older brother, who she abandoned when he was a child, from the airport. On accident, I picked up a laptop bag from the luggage pickup area. I thought it was my brother's. I realized my mistake walking out when I mentioned it. Mortified, I went to take it back asap. My mother, 76 years old, told me to just take it. "no one saw you, just keep walking". I was like "are you nuts? Thats stealing, and some person is probably freaking out right now. Why would you want to do that to someone??". Thats my mother, still even at her age. Anyways, when I see cool SW collections, it still bothers me how I "lost" mine. If I could only have my original Boba, and AT AT I'd be happy.
WOW. What a story. Thanks for sharing this, and sorry of a video like this brings back some pain. You know, collecting can be cathartic too. Perhaps starting your own vintage figure collection could be a way of recapturing a small part of what was taken from you. Its all expensive now, but that vintage AT-AT, or one or two other figures you remember, in display in your home, might be nice.
Hi, VERY GREAT COLLECTION Sir ! I have one when i was 5,6 years old, Luke Skywalker pilot. One friend also have one, i forgot which one, but the hand have kind of spring, can throw a whip. Which one is that sir? Thanks
Nice collection! I’m 25 and just barely started collecting! I started off with non carded Vader , boba fett and storm trooper ! Little by little hope to have one collection like yours !😃👌
Hello, I read your comment and I have a few questions. I'm an OT, 1977-1985 SW fan. Is there a desire for the real, vintage toys amongst the younger fans? Has the oversaturation of SW merchandise diminished the appeal or enhanced it? Thank you for the reply.
I feel there is a group of younger generation folks who didn’t grow up with the toys definitely is in want for these as the vintage toys were just classic and simple but yet appealing and something that the new generation toys just don’t capture , at least in my eyes . Everytime I go to a target is a mere unwanted “snoke” or “rose “ Kenner figure sitting on the racks for ever , I definitely feel your generation had it the best when it came to these toys and the films . These are just straight gold my friend .
@@muaythaiboy1994 Shoot. I had a thing for getting characters we never had (Tarkin, Rebel Trooper, Lars&Beru, Garindan, etc.), but only way after they came out. Got some prequel stuff, good scuplts. Bought a bunch of the new figures, most on clearance! I love the sculpting and details. Not doing much past those, though. In a way it WAS better, but many things are better. If only Disney hadn't biffed the responsibility! Thanks for replying.
Odd Eagle I’m part of the younger generation that grew up with the prequels, I really love my vintage figures, and they are what got me into collecting (My dad gave me the ones he kept). I also love the prequel and clone wars figures, and my favorite line is POTF2 from the 90s because of the variety of figures. The new sequel trilogy figures don’t really appeal to me. I am not a fan of how Luke was handled in TLJ, but I did enjoy TFA and got some of those figures. Overall I have like 500 figures now and love Star Wars collecting!
Dude i love your collection and its displayed nicely..! Also i have to say this, but you look alot like the actor Steve Martin a younger version. Just with darker and longer hair.
Awesome collection mate and love the way it’s displayed, hidden behind the door . Makes me want to do one for my figure collection. Just one more thing the 3rd last is A-Wing Pilot , common mistake but who cares , this is brilliant 🤗
Can I ask a question to you as you seem to know your stuff I purchased a loose dengar action figure without his weapon do I have the original vintage figure or did they make a later dengar ?.
It's a Trap!! Teebo is Medicine Ewok Logray.... and you don't have Cheif Chirpa :( an amazing collection, I wished to god I kept all my figures as a kid. Who knew Star Wars would turn out to be what it is today. My first Figure was R2 D2 ... Within weeks the torso sticker came off... wear and tear... but my dad expertly painted his details back on with model paints. And, looked better for it if i'm honest. I wish I'd kept it now. Han Shot first! and Leia says 'It's a Trap! First too!
