just a tip: my mom always taught me to clean as a cook! So let’s say, while the pasta is boiling and the sauce is simmering, you can empty the dishwasher and put the prep dishes (cutting board, measuring cups, utensils) in! It makes it easier to clean the rest of the kitchen when you’re fully done cooking/eating (washing the pans and wiping the counter)

Mom cooking advice: don’t rinse mushrooms. Wipe them with a wet paper towel (or kitchen towel). Rinsing them makes them tough 😉 but I love watching your videos! I’m living my 20s again vicariously through you, but in a much more adventurous way than I actually loved them!

I was just about to comment this! Mushrooms absorb their environment and they grow usually in dirt areas that have a lot of good compost materials… When you rinse them they absorb them! So basically they absorb💩 when wet

It is so cool hearing about your skincare journey, because mine was so similar. Summer 2020, my skin was the clearest it had ever been in my life, but once September 2020 hit, I suddenly developed severe cystic acne. I was luckily able to get into the dermatologist in October 2020, and I was also put on doxycycline and tretinoin. I was even supposed to be on clindamycin lotion too, but I am allergic so I could not use it. It is so awesome seeing you openly talk about your journey that was so similar to mine, because it was so hard for me to get over the unnecessary shame I felt for not having perfect, clear skin, and I have had to rebuild my confidence from the ground up. Your skin looks awesome and is doing so well! Love you. 🥰

I relate so much to your acne journey, it took so long after many medications and lotions for dermatologist to find out what works for me. It really does take such a toll on mental health, and hyperpigmentation is such a bad aftermath too. I’m so glad you found something that is working out for you. I made this yesterday but stepped it up exponentially by using finer ingredients. It's amazing.I used pancetta rather than ham. I used baby portobellos.I used an onion but also 2 clovesgarlic, half shallot and crushed red pepper to taste. FRESH parsley!!! I deglazed the pan with the broth BUT I made the third cup of liquid half white wine, half broth. I used grated locatelli cheese in the actual sauce and to finish!! Thanks for the inspo. Heavy cream ofc but never bring cream to boil.
