Teresa Collins shows you how simple it is to create your own stamps, embossing dies and stencils using the Teresa Collins Stamp Maker. She's share finished projects along with a quick tutorial on how the machine works.
Hello there. Just love your video. Your stamp machine looks fab. It takes a stupid old crafter all her time to do this. You mentioned a printer. Which I dont have. Do you also need a pc. Thank you
Hi where can I buy the cd and cling please I bought a machine off of ebay I've tried emailing but got NO reply sadly thinking of selling my machine as gotten no where with emails and even on facebook this is my last chance thank you
I have not this machine but im interested in this stuff stampmaking, embossing ecetera. If your printer doesnt print your negative dark enough maybe you can make it darker with a black permanent water resistent foils and disc marker. This is only a guess but it could help you.
Margaret - if you have to do that, the chances are the image will not stamp well. Even with registration marks, it is very hard to line up precisely - for small text, near impossible. I prefer to use a plotter and black vinyl or card!
Use vinyl. I just seen a video elsewhere where the lady uses her cameo to cut out the image onto black vinyl and then attaches that to cheap plastic (similar to the kind you see in small planners or the top sheet of store bought stamps) and then tapes that to a piece of glass, use foam tape between the glass on the edges to act as a buffer between the two pieces, then also places skinny foam tape into a box shape around the piece of vinyl for the sentiment and then places into a regular ole nail uv light box. Three mins on first rotation and then average between 2+ mins for second hardening part. Longer it sits the longer it hardens. And in water like this video. She keeps her polymer in a black shampoo bottle (tressame to be exact). So there you go. A way to do it yourself and not worry about negative paper and super black ink. Buy vinyl and a cricut or cameo machine and make hundreds of them. One more thing with the foam tape around the image the stamp also becomes a little thicker and not so paper thin as this videos looked.
Hey I live in the states and I just cannot find the photopolymer. I have looked on amazon and google. Where do you suggestion for me to look for it? I have been watching your youtube tutorials on how to make these stamps. Thanks :)
You said there were other brands that did the exact same thing since you don't do it anymore what are the names of the brands I really need this thank you
Hi , i bought TC stamp Maker but it didn't work for me, the images weren't detailed like these stamps are they are just images on rubber and when you stamp them it just smudges, there is no grooves or ridges in the stamps , also do we put the pacs IMAGEPAC side up or down?
The products sold on Teresa's web page include actual stamps she's designed and created, but this stamp make is nowhere to be seen there. She's cute, but I think it's deceptive to call it the Teresa Collins Stampmaker when she doesn't sell it on her site.
Because a web address was given, implying that one could buy the stamp maker at that web site. It looked like a good product, and I wanted to know where it could be bought.
It is only about $160 now. 3 minutes? You only do 100 seconds now, same material. Also if this is the creator, she doesn't know how to use her own product at all. 3 minutes? Maybe in 2012 they had different pink goo? And putting the good pack in first soft side up and negative on top is NOT correct. Put your negative in FIRST so that you can read it. Pink goo pack on top, soft side down. then close so you can see the goo pack on top of the negative, lined up. So many people doing lousy jobs. She is also exposing the back for 7-8 seconds while saying 6 because she doesn't realize time starts when light touches in, not when she starts counting or stops. wrong, just wrong.
Wow! you are extremely negative. Teresa Collins demonstrated in *real time* how to make a stamp, with proven positive results. We're not professionals here... just small time people who want a custom stamp. Perhaps commercial professionals use the technique that you mentioned. Whatever the case is, this stamp maker works for me. If i could i would get this machine today!
Isha Ahmon I am not being negative. I am giving you correct instructions. I am pointing out she is wrong and you will not have success putting it in upside-down. This video tutorial is incorrect and simply wrong. It did not work for you or you would have an inverted image and the UV times wrong.
