Thanks for making this video. I just acquired one of these kits from a friend, not knowing anything about it. It was extremely helpful to watch you go through the process, see the challenges, and reach the end result. Thank you!

I bought mine in 2016 and love it for those custom designs I’m unable to find. I run my completely dry stamp in my Xyron with repositionable adhesive and store on an acetate sheet. It’s a great tool to have in your craft room!

Very informative! Now I will not be as nervous to get this thing running😃. I bought this to make personalized stamps. I do all of my own artwork But sellers still want $30-$60 for each personalized stamp and I need several different stamps. This pays for the machine right away.

I had one of these. I gave it away. I use the Silhouette Mint now for my spur of the moment stamps and love it.

Great video! I normally make my own stamps by carving them, but this would be great for words and phrases! Try some tack and peel for the clear blocks! I bet it'll stick to that!

AWESOME!!!! When you stamped your “first made by Nancy “ stamp I was so happy it worked!! Seriously I was cheering for you!! Have fun and please keep us informed as you make more stamps!! Oh and I love butterflies and ladybugs...I know we can buy many butterfly stamps...but it would be fun to make one that you designed!! 🦋🐞

Sounds like you were going to have fun. Cost wise it’s hard to determine if it will be cost-effective or not at this point if you use it it will be if it’s too complicated maybe nuts so cost-effective those are my thoughts anywayGo for it

I think you used the clingfilm backwarts. Maybe the sticky is for the stamp and the other side for clinging to your stamp block.

Lydia van den Brink no, I tried it both ways. The photopolymer is cured too hard. I made another stamp and cured the back for a shorter period of time and it wouldn't release from the backing. I'm still experimenting.

Yes the uv light box is the same as a uv gel nail box :) the stamps just need bright light to cure, hence why you want to always keep the gel packs out of the light :)

how do you design your own stamps, do they have material to design with? way cool, you can draw up anything you want to I would think. So happy for you, how fun and creative this will be, please show us how u design your own stamp. TYFS.

photocentric.ukhost.com/business/ You can use just about any picture and convert it to a design, then save it or print it out

I have a stamp maker and some of the Imagepac sachets. I had great results the first few stamps I made. Then I got busy and didn’t make any for a year or so. I am now having a very hard time making stamps again. But I wanted to let you know that I use repositionable adhesive on the back of these stamps. I wish the Imagepacs didn’t have that plastic backing on them.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT YOU MAKE AND IF THEY LAST. I AM NOT A FAN OF PHOTOPOLYMER. BUT I THINK THIS MACHINE WOULD BE FUN!

Hi Nancy, thanks for the video it was great to see this being used. I'm thinking about buying one of these and wondered if after having it for a few months you's recommend it?

Not yet Anne Marie, I haven't played too much with it. The stamps don't stick to a clear block. I'm working on that.

Nancy Stamps Hi Nancy! The stamp sachets that come with your kit are not designed to stick to a block. You have to adhere them, unfortunately. However, if you buy this product, you won’t have to, as it is all liquid but much messier. And you will need to make a dam/moat to keep the gel intact. A channel called Create in Spain has tons of tutorials using it with perfect success. Here’s the product she uses: Colop photopolymer gel which you can buy via Amazon. I hope this helps! 😊

I think Silouhete's Mint is easier.

Do u need yo remove the hard back from stamp
@NancyStamps
@NancyStamps 5 лет назад
Yes, or it won't stick to the block. There is a very thin clear plastic backing.

The $130 price is a total ripoff!! The contents of your packaged could be bought for less than $30 at specialty stamp stores!! That UV nail lamp costs like $7.00 online, the photopolymer liquid costs $30 per kilo!! (you could make hundreds with a 1 kilo bottle) If they were hideous enough to charge you $130 at least should have the decency to include the hardened polymer sheet (the solid ones) instead of the semi-liquid ones :D
