@@dadong88 rubbish. Fosu is no where near the first team. Onyeka is not a starter. It’s between Jensen & Da Silva. Norgaard is injured too. Janelt Norgaard Da Silva or Janelt Norgaard Jensen
It's not huge problem. Early wildcard is almost certain this season for all managers with the way how the fixtures are scheduled. You can go and try something different from the template and push the wildcard button maybe one or two gameweeks earlier than the other template ones. Ofcourse you can lose some ground if everything goes terribly wrong at the start, but also you can gain huge advantage if things go your way. I think this is the season to try that, all year is already separated on quarters, you do not need to go different for a very long time, and the start seems the best time for it to be done. Cheers!
Three premiums can actually give you a lot of flexibility, if you have like 2-3 players at 8m and they go up yours goes down it can get tough quickly maybe keeping 0.5 ain’t to bad but with 3 premiums like Salah, Haaland and son you can asses all players for 1-2 weeks and basically decide which premium you drop down to any player in the game since you got the most expensive price point , for ex if Haaland gets injured and you have a cheaper mid you can easily go Jesus + saka, ofc requires double move but flexibility is there , players like Bailey might make it worth it
Yeah true, I also just think the template this year looks so strong …like I don’t even want Son + Bailey over Diaz and another 8m mid/fwd for ex, as I think 2 nd could actually score more and u still save a Little, keeping 0.5 is top priority for me though with so many at the same price
Any thoughts about my team: Goalkeeper: Sanchez Defence: Alexander-Arnold + James + Perisic + Robertson Midfield: Diaz + Neto + Mount Attack: Haaland + Jesus + Kane Bench: Olsen + N. Williams + Andreas Pereira + Dasilva
My current threemium draft: Sanchez Alexander-Arnold, James, Trippier, Williams Salah, Odegaard, Neto Haaland, Kane, Jesus Gazzaniga, Dasilva, Patterson, Andreas.
I like the three premium draft a lot I came up with something very similar but I personally prefer Jonny over Dunk as the 4.5 option to pair with Tomiyasu
@@harryb1429 Looks pretty solid. I am seriously considering Son, both because I think it's an 'easy' route to points that a lot of managers won't get, but also just because he is a fantastic player to watch and having great players in your team is part of the fun, even though it's not always sensible.
Preseason form does matter. If a player is scoring goals it is because the team is working well and the player is fitting well in the team. It might not be useful for predicting attacking returns, but it’s very important nonetheless
Neco Williams will surprise a lot of people this year. I’m actually starting him in my team at the moment. The guy is severely underrated and I think he’ll have a good season
My Team: GK: Ederson DEF: Trent, James, Cash, Tripper Mid: Salah, Mount , Bruno G, Diaz Fwd: Haaland, Jesus Subs: 4m Keeper, N Williams, Andreas P, 4.5 forward
Please do a video on transfers how the price of a player increases decreases and when you sell a player how much you get as I've been playing since 2006/2007 and still don't fully grasp this. Thanks
Hello Andy I have made two adjustments to my original team on my main account My Squad: Starting 11: GK: Mendy DF: Robertson, Tomiyasu, Coady, Laporte .Mid: M:Salah, Maddison, Diaz, Martinelli FW: Jesus, Kane Bench: GK: Olsen FW: Undav, Mid: Murphy Def: Neco Williams. GK: Out: Sanchez In: Olsen Mid: Out: Neto In: Martinelli your thoughts? Pablo Fornals of West Ham was a choice as Neto's replacement as a cheaper option to Bowen. Also Botman will be on my watch list or I downgrade Undav and Martinelli and bring in James of Chelsea to replace Tomiyasu
I know im gonna get meme'd for this, but i really believe the best team has no salah. Diaz, robbo and trent are all 3 heavily underpriced and very good value, cant ignore any of them. Kane/haaland rotates better for captaincy aswell. And with early wc the lack of flexibility doesnt really matter. Current draft: Ederson Trent robbo james 5mil dias Diaz rashford Haaland kane jesus Ofc some people have an asterisk assuming they are fit and good in pre season ie haaland rashy etc but i really like this.
Yeah i think so too but I don't really like to take the risk of starting without Salah. I did last season and lost hell lot of points. As of now, I've got- Ramsdale Trent, Dias, Mings, Ait-Nouri (4.5, Too underrated, literally plays in the midfield for Wolves) Salah, Son, Guimaraes Haaland, Jesus Ik I've compromised too much to bring in Salah and Son together
@@BishanKDeka i just feel like salah is too expensive compared to robbo/diaz and what u can do with that money is insane. I dont think id captain salah more than once, maybe twice in the first 8. So just doesnt seem worth to have. Ofcourse gw1 is scary but beyond that idk. I heavily prefer kane over son, cheaper and the better asset imo, especially for captaincy with pens. I think big atb with kane/haaland as the premiums, assuming haaland looks good and fit. Is the best strategy atm. I really like the ramsdale shout in ur team, feel like he isnt talked about enough, think i prefer stretching tk ederson to get a nailed city defender* for 5.5 tho.
my current team Ederson TAA - Robertson - James - Chilwell - Botman Rashford - Salah - Coutinho (Dasilba, Andreas) Jesus - Haaland (Greenwood) tempted by 4.5 keeper with Laporte/Dias instead of Botman
With Cucarella city bound I'm locking in quad city before the team change. Raya Dias/TAA/Chilwell/Cucarella Mahrez/Diaz/Salah/Neto Jesus - Haaland Subs : Gazzaniga - Andreas - Williams - Greenwood
If your looking for a 4.5m bench defender, check out Richie Laryea. He's more of a wing back and a very fast attacking defender. Too bad Norests first five is horrible, but Richie might be a nice surprise.
I keep reverting back to Toney and Jesus upfront with 2 premium mids. I like Toneys fixtures and I feel he’s more locked in most/all mids in his price range and on pens….also the premium mids killed everyone else last year so surely better for capt picks? Fully get the 2 transfers to get a premium forward but if the premium mids kick on as expected and the mid price strikers perform and play every game I feel it’s a reasonable way to go?
@@JB-px6ql with alot of people going Jesus and possibly a cheaper Arsenal Defender (White Tomiyasu) and THEN Saka who's a mid playing front 3.... that's alot of assets from the Gunners too risky
Meslier for me until the first wildcard. First 8 fixtures aren’t that bad so a few clean sheets plus he will face a lot of shots in most games and he’s actually a great shot stopper so plenty of bonus points coming his way. Top 5 keeper by GW8
Just so you know Andy, in English Dias and Diaz are both pronounced "Diaz". Obviously in Portuguese and Spanish they're pronounced slightly differently but Dias is never pronounced "Diass"
Aaronson is a better 5.5 option over Neto. I have made the same observations regarding Perisic, have gone to other options for the same reasons, my back line is Cancelo, Laporte, Chilwell, Gabriel, Nico Williams OTB; Midfield -Son and Guimaraes; Jesus, Haaland, Kane.
My Current Draft: Raya Alexander-Arnold, Chilwell, Walker, James Odegaard, Sancho, Diaz, Salah, Neto Kane Bench: Strakosha, Neco Williams, Undav, Archer Thoughts? (slight doubt on Walker, the bench goalkeeper and Archer)
I agree. Tried putting Son iin my team alongside Salah and Haaland and like you, I had two 4.5 defenders, 2 4.5 midfielders and 1 4.5 attacker AND I have to play TWO of them every week. It's just not worth it. It's a very risky stategy to bank on your three premiums smashing from day one.
Ederson is a nice pick, but then you leave no room if you want to get a city mid at some point. let's say for example Mahrez smash it the first week and looks like he will be Pep's favourite for that spot on the right. Or the same situation but with Grealish on the left
What do you think of this team? Mendy Gazzaniga Dias White James Chilwell Niko Son Andreas Salah Smith-Rowe Bailey Jesus Haaland Greenwood Basically ditching Diaz and Trent for Son... Dias + Son would be able to cover Trent + Diaz points relatively easily I believe... It's not my team, but I thought it up while making adjustments and saw it was 100M flat... Also, there's the option of going back to Trent, along with Sterling + Ederson instead of Dias, Mendy and Son
You know we all want Mango's and Strawberries in our side, but we cant just do that. So we have to go with an Orange, a peach, a melon. or maybe even a Pomgranate. I just hope im not left with Apples and Banana's
I really like the look of Bailey I’ve had him in every draft because for 5m it’s a risk that is worth taking and I think he will get a good amount of minutes
Never thought I would, but seriously considering going without Salah (at least for the start of the season) the team I’ve created with the money saved from Salah just looks too good…
I still don't get this. Sure, you have 3 premiums but you have no Arsenal attacker like Jesus. Arsenal have played well in preseason, especially Jesus and their opening fixtures for the first 8 are FAR better than Spurs. Spurs have to play teams like Chelsea, a low block Wolves team.
Good thing about the 3 premium draft is that kane and haaland take up the striker spots. This is good because defence and midfield have decent ish players at low prices and strikers don't. Theres even 4m starters like neco. Tbh I'd swap Diaz with Jesus in this draft because you can get people like guimares and lingard, or even a fornals/wissa/dasilva/neto
I fully agree with your opinions 😍 I could have Zinchenko as a hidden gem in my bench slot for the first gameweek But Broja to West Ham would make a better bench Especially that I could get Neco W to replace my DEF spot for only 4.0m ! 😱🤩
For me Anthony Gordon is a much better 5.5m option for midfield. Correct me if I’m wrong with that, I just think he’s a nailed on starter, in a team that are more likely to score goals than Wolves and was instrumental to anything Everton did at the end of last season.
Nice stuff Andy. Agree re Perisic - I’ve got a feeling Sessegnon is going to start the season for Spurs at LWB. He’s started both pre season matches so far and it’ll be interesting to see if he starts against Rangers at the weekend. Could be solid for the first six gameweeks at 4.5 🦾
My triple premium draft... Raya James Chilwell Gabriel Salah Guimares Lingard Fornals Haaland Kane Jesus Sanchez N.Williams Andreas Patterson Since west ham don't really have great fixtures especially gw1 I might go with wissa or norgaard instead as Brentford have decent fixtures. Or I can just hope Bowen and fornals score against city lol
He’ll be nailed on, so that’s a plus, but compared to Tomiyasu it might be a bit of a risk relying on that Newcastle defense. If it goes right, he could be a hidden gem
@@Alexandxer_14 yea i was thinking he could be an interesting differential. With the way newcastle are progressing i wouldnt be surprised with consistent clean sheets. But their improvements are yet to be fully seen.
@@Alexandxer_14 no harm 'relying' on that Newcastle defence though, they were 3rd best team in the league for 2nd half of last season, you'd imagine they'll only be better aswell signing the likes of Pope and Botman, I think they've some favorable match ups early on also to get some CS.
Disclaimer: I have Neto in my team too ATM. In terms of better match day 1 £5.5M midfielders: Mac Allister, Henderson, Thiago, Kovacic, Bentancur, Gray, Dewsbury-Hall, Redmond, Hojbjerg, Fraser, Xhaka, Fornals, Fabinho, Iwobi, Armstrong, Willock, Olise, D. Luiz, Schlupp, Soucek, Doucoure, Gordon, Eze, NEVES
Jacob Ramsey > Neto. Villa is trending up while wolves are trending down. Odegaard for 1 mill more is worth it considering arsenals attack this year. Not a bad team just some interesting picks.
we know there is value in the "premium defenders" but you can get.. Kane 11.5 , Haaland 11.5 , Salah 13.0 , Sterling, 10.0 Jesus 8.0 in the same team. rest of squad i have in this draft is Raya 4.5, Steele 4. Jonny 4.5 zinchenko 5.0, Dunk 4.5m coufal 4.5, n williams 4.0 neto 5.5, dasilva 4.5 obviously change the 4.0-5.0 as you see fit -
The extra wildcard is so good for trying out the more bolder strategies this season like full on premium defence, rotating goalkeepers and three premiums or a combination of those. Personally, in tandem with the midfield premium price rises and the premium defenders largely staying the same, I'm going to try No Salah (or 1 premium forward).
Do you think Bowen is a better pick than Saka? if we ignore the fact of Bowen playing Man City in his first fixture, the rest of fixtures are fine, and also bowen scored against Man City last time. and also is the 0.5m extra putting you off? if they were the same price would you still pick Saka?
Currently drafted Ederson Cash, TAA, James, Trippier Luis Diaz, salah (c), saka, neto Jesus, haaland (v) Debating on saka to mount/kulusevski otherwise pretty happy Also if cucurella/zinchenko I may swap Cash and trippier for him if both transfers happen
For now I will go with a 4-4-2 threemium: Mendy - TAA, Cancelo, James, Dier - Salah, Willock, Neto, Martinelli - Kane, Haaland I can go to Jesus and Diaz, but depends on how Haaland plays the next three games.
which team do you think is better Team 1 (442): GK’s Raya & Meslier DEF : Cash Robbo Chilwell Trippier Walker MID : Diaz Son Saka Bruno G Dewsbury Hall ATT: Kane Jesus Archer Team 2 (532): GK’s Raya & Meslier DEF: Cash Robbo Chilwell Trippier Laporte MID : Diaz Son Saka Dewsbury Hall Andreas ATT : Kane Jesus Archer
Neto clearly isn't rubbish. He's a very good player who has had terrible luck with injuries. I like him and don't see myself going without him at the moment
no one will see this but i’m shooting a comment anyway lol. my team is ramsdale trent, chilwell, james, perisic, laporte, salah, kuluveski, martinelli, jesus, haaland. bench is dasilva murphy plange. no neco as i have all starting defenders i think defenders are so important this year but i only finished 300k last year so any thoughts is welcome.
My threemium draft would be this, gives you better value in defence imo & extra £0.5 for kane to son Meslier TAA/Trippier/James/Cancelo/Tomiyasu BrunoG/Salah/Neto/Son Haaland
I'm not sure if Neto is rubbish or not(!!) but have you considered Gray? Everton have some lovely fixtures after Chelsea and, if he's playing, should outscore Neto?
On your threemium, I’d maybe swap Chilwell-Dunk-Meslier to Cash-Trippier/Zinchenko-Mendy to bolster the Defense a bit (at the cost of Chilwell obviously)
Fixtures arent great but Aribo at Southampton could be a great 5.5 shout. Played upfront for Rangers (scored in the final last season) and could form a partnership with Adams
Is it really insane to use TC in week one? I've seen a few players who I think would be worth a punt. Salah v Fulham. Son or Kane v Southampton Wilson v Forest. Any of those players could get a brace and an assist or, dare I say, a hat-trick
I might have settled on this draft: Raya - 4.0 TAA, Robertson, Cancelo, James, Tomiyasu Salah, Mahrez, Neto, 4.5, 4.5 Haaland, Jesus, 4.5 Robertson vs. Diaz is the main question and despite being extremely xLively, I think Robertson might offer more points that Diaz at this stage. Mahrez might offer great value in the early gameweeks and can easily be switched to another 8.0 MID if needed. Should I choose to have Diaz instead of Robertson, I'd have City's Dias in defence and could upgrade Raya or Tomiyasu. I personally think that premium goalkeepers are boring as their ceiling is around 8-9 pts, meanwhile its not too hard to imagine somebody like Dias getting 15 pts with CS, Goal and full bonuses.
@@aaron3431 Haha, I know! Is it wrong if I'm both little proud and ashamed of it at the same time? But at the end of the day I believe these are the players who will score the most points at the early gameweeks, so I don't care about the ownerships.
@@jakubsichta2177 I'm personally not afraid of that. Raya is very highly rated player and will hopefully get few clean sheet points before the first international break when I'm looking to WC anyway.
@Dingle Yeah, I kind of agree with the first two takes. Although I'm little unsure about Chelsea's defence early on as they have changed so many defenders. Koulibaly, Kimpembe etc. are great players, but there might be some slips early on as they build chemistry and Chelsea might miss on some clean sheets. I read a quote from Conte in which he said he is looking to give many players opportunities early in the season. This combined with the fact that Perisic doesn't have a full pre-season under his belt is troubling regarding his minutes. And he was a rotation risk anyway. I really like him though and I can see him getting an occasional haul.
my 3 prem team if decide to use will be 4.5k gk with 4 on bench. I have sanchez. defenders i play 5 at back in james. chilwell, taa, perisic, trippier. Mids i have salah, son and wissa playing and adreas and dasilva on bench. For haarland and awoniyi playing 4.5 on bench. My gamble if playing this team will be on wissa and awoniyi performing well.
I feel like no one is looking/considering sterling, I get he’s £10m but there’s potential he can get regular minutes on the left hand side and we know he can score goals
raya 4.5 trent 7.5 james 6.0 tomiyasu 4.5 dunk 4.5 salah 13.0 son 12.0 martinelli 6.0 neto 5.5 jesus 8.0 haaland 11.5 bench caballero greenwood andreas drager
I've managed to get a team with Haaland, Kane, Salah and Jesus but not sure whether to stick with it or to try and get rid of one and upgrade at the back slightly
I don't get the hype around Chelsea defenders when they can't keep clean sheets...should definitely have TAA, Robbo and Cancelo and probably Trippier ahead of Chelsea duo.
