Not in later years he calmed down

He was scowling,thats like a bully.Menacing looks.He bullied landlords of pubs to carry on serving him and his mates after hours.One landlord knew Roy Shaw and asked him to fix the problem and it then became to be the boxing fights between him and Shaw.But McClean no doubt was a bully.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins so we wouldn't have to go to hell.. We violated God's law the ten commandments and Jesus paid the fine...bibles says Let everyone who names the name of Christ Depart from inequity. That won’t save you, but you don’t want to play the hypocritic and say I’m a Christian and still fornicate.. lust.. lie.. hate.. Steal.. blasphemy... you have to be genuine in your repentance and trust in Jesus, your fear is an intrical part of salvation. The bible says through the fear of the lord men depart from evil.. The reason you need a saviour is because you’ve sinned against God and his wrath abides upon you, and you need to be washed.. cleansed and a new heart with new desires created within you.. and that’s what true conversion is and then you’ll bring forth fruits of righteousness 🕊️

In that case you was not around back then..I remember seeing him and his little team of hangers on plenty of times in the seventies along with hearing a thousand more stories about him..he was a bully,that is not to say he wasn’t hard as I certainly wouldn’t of fancied one on the chin from him..anyone who genuinely remembers him or his goons won’t have such fond memories,they were throughly unpleasant..his daughter,like most of us,think we had the nicest kindest dads in the world,that doesn’t make it true

I liked lenny, read he's books , films etc ,but ask any one in that world and they will tell you that he was a terrible bully with the people who he knew he could bully ,which was most people

You didn’t even have to be a face,he had a reputation on the drinking circuit for it..it is true he would of fought anyone who fronted him,it is also true he layed out people who weren’t tasty and weren’t looking for no trouble..I remember him from the seventies as being a bully

@@brettsinclair6802 there you go and I remember him from the eighties as being really out of order on the door and he thought it was great to impress his mates by hitting fellas that had had one to many when if he was the proper doorman people are saying on here he would of diplomatically got them a cab, I’ve seen him at work and he was a big bully who was a natural intimidating guy who liked seeing fellas squirm. It’s a shame Roy wasn’t bigger and we would of seen a proper match then, I met shaw a few times and he always had time for a photo with the youngsters and was 20 divisions higher that Maclean

@@darbysabini4248 Shaw was a bully as well. My aunt who's since passed away witnessed an incident. She was in a club in the early 60s when a fight broke out. Some bloke got the shit kicked out of him(nothing to do with Shaw) But, as he got up and staggered away, he got some of his blood on Shaw's coat. Shaw proceeded to beat him half to death stamping on his head etc. But everyone inc the bouncers were scared to stop it. The guy was taken to hospital and unsurprisingly no one saw what happened. The entire club were in the toilets according to their police statements lol
