Thank you so much for this perspective. A lot of people seem to be angry with the fact I've grown up, changed and evolved over the years, but you've summed it up perfectly. Back then I was learning, copying, trying to mould myself to others, searching for who I was. Now I am older I have found myself, grown closer to myself and learned to love myself a whole lot more! Balance is exactly the word and I am so proud of myself! Thank you so much for the thoughtful and kind comment. I am so much more comfortable in myself, my skin and how I am living!

@@MadeleineOlivia anytime. And that is work, learning to love yourself. Its such important work because if you don't learn to love yourself first, when someone says unkind things, its so much easier to believe its true. And to those unkind folks I ask "do you have a lot of the same opinions and ideas as you did 10 years ago?" Or, "is learning and growing a bad thing?" They would likely say "nope, and I have learned a lot over the past 10 years, and some of my ideals have shifted, or my lifestyle is different" So (to me) those comments often hold no weight and are coming from a different place (and lets face it, when you are young, who hasn't tried to be something they are not, we are all HUMAN). You should be proud of yourself, and this is also coming from someone who isn't a vegan, BUT from watching your videos, I feel like I can do a better job at understanding where my food comes from, thinking in a more ethical and sustainable way and asking more questions. Thank you (as well) for making this a welcoming space, and so happy to hear that you are living true to who YOU ARE.
