Very impressive collection, John. I have just under half of the Slasher Classics releases. I want to get Grandmother's House, I've never seen it.

I've done a count and I have approx. 18 of the Slasher Classics titles that you have in this video. I am always open to grabbing more titles they have great releases👍👍

Awesome collection! I just watched this video now for the first time. I was searching Graduation Day for some picture comparisons and I have the Vinegar Syndrome release. I was curious how the 88 Films release compares to the Vinegar Syndrome release. I was even thinking of collecting the Slasher Collection from 88 Films. Very cool video John!

Cheers Dax 👌👌 I'm not sure how they compare as I haven't seen the Vinegar Syndrome release myself, the 88 Films release looks pretty nice, I think it's oop now and might be expensive 🤔 but if you come across it for a decent price I would pounce as its a good all round release 👍 I rate this collection highly (some titles are crazy out of print like Blood Harvest and Just before dawn) but most should be available 🤞🤞 cheers for watching Dax 🤩🤩👍👍

Top video mate, I have a dismal amount of 4 of the slasher classics, The Bogeyman, Intruder, Slaughterhouse and Just Before Dawn. I like cheap horrors, not sure why I've never picked up more. I love the Italian collection though, looking forward to that video

What a great collection of 88films John. I didn’t realise there were so many and a few I haven’t seen which is pretty cool. I haven’t seen Xmas evil yet, but definitely watching this Xmas. I think I have around 6 88 films. Great video John, loving the series.😀👍

John - this video made me realise how uneducated in film I really am haha!!! I've never even heard of most of these!! Fantastic collection! Alice Sweet Alice is one i've heard a lot about though and definitely want to see. Terror Train is also on my list of ones to pick up soon.

I'm impressed you've got so many slashers from 88 Films. Have quite a few myself and had even more, but sold some of them (needed shelf space). Lots of fun movies, especially if you watch them with some friends. A little something I'd like to point out though: Intruder isn't released in the U.S. by Scream Factory, but by Synapse Films. I wouldn't call that release better in the slightest, unless you prefer a more flat/dull looking picture compared to 88 Films more bold looking release. But hey, it's nice to have the option to choose. Might have to start rewatching some of my own slashers at some point. Great video, mate. Keep up the good work 😊👍.

I do find them quite a good time Koroshiya 🤩🤩 good way to spend an hour and a half 👌🤪 you're right it's Synapse for Intruder, personally I found Synapse better on my system 🤔 might have to go back to it and double check..... pretty sure I still have it 🤔🥴 doesn't take much to confuse me mate 🤪🤪🤣 I find when I'm in the mood, I can rattle a few of these off in a couple of days 🤩🤩 cheers mate 😊😊👍👍

@@MondoChelloveckMovies The Synapse release looks like it's master has been taken from the OCN or IP and looks pristine. The 88 Films (which I own) has more wear (and tear?) and looks like it's master has been taken from a print. Sharpness seems better on the Synapse too. However, the colour grading job on the 88 Films is much more pleasant to my eyes and I'd take a good colour-graded master of a lesser source any day of the week over a dull colour-graded master from a great source. Hi Peter, 88 Films are really amping things up at the moment they are putting out some real gems and definitely are chasing Arrow's title for best UK boutique label for me 🤩🤩 10 to Midnight looks really nice on this release 👌👌 cheers for watching bud 🤩🤩👍👍

@@MondoChelloveckMovies Yeah its definitely between Arrow and 88 Films. Their recent Flash Sale was also way better than Arrows Camp Sale.

Yeah I agree with you on the sale! Arrow sales aren't as good as they used to be... I snagged those 3 titles from Arrow but 2 of them weren't even from the Arrow label 🥴🤩👍👍

Im pretty sure Children Of The Corn 2&3 and Sleepaway Camp 2&3 actually never had booklets in these. Have you got them inside yours?

Checked through the cases and I'm pretty sure I bought them at releases, Children of the Corn (first one) has a booklet but not 2 and 3, and Sleepaway Camp 2 has a booklet but not 3 😁😁👍👍 maybe thats how they were originally put out? Not 100% sure though 🤩🤔

@@MondoChelloveckMovies Thats interesting! Im pretty sure there never was booklets for Children Of The Corn 2&3 but apparently there is one for Sleepaway Camp 2 and probably for 3 too. A few hours I bidded in Terror Train w slip and booklet for £24. Have you gotten any more slipcovers for these since you made this video?

I haven't mate apart for Maniac.... I think this collection could be more or less finished now as Maniac has been the only one out in AGES 😵‍💫🤩 its hard to find info on what went it what with the slasher series 🤔 Terror Train! Nice! Lovely slip mate 🤩🤩👍👍

@@MondoChelloveckMovies Ive actually got slipcovers on Mountaintop Motel Massacre, Toolbox Murders, House On Sorority Row and yes.. even on Blood Harvest! Still a bunch more I need to get. Im kind of glad they didnt do slips for all of them. Well my wallet is. Arent you trying to find more or are they too expensive when you see them? Im also trying to get the right sort of red case for all of them. The nice more bloodred sort they originally came in. So Ive been picking up several doubles just to take that from but Im always able to resell them in a blue case for at least the same I paid so its not really a cost.
