Thank god I just got back from a perfume shop , so my will power is restored to its fragile level 🤣 Time to relax to this and see all the wonderful scents 🍀 Hopefully the back to school season adjustment isn't too jarring 🙏

Next year, 2 Frederic Malles. Promise me. 😂 PRoMiSSSSSe. 😉 Such a great Guerlain collection Tara. 🧡 And a wonderful description of all of them! Hell yeah Back to Black is sexy. Truth be told, I layered it with Morillas' Ferragamo Uomo once and nearly broke necks with the attention I was getting. 🤫 Honey, labdanum, coffee, cherry, vanilla and oud topped with a delicious dusting of chocolate powder. Now tell me that doesn't sound divine... 🤤 Bon appetit!

I love this series! And I love your channel! I don't like most vanilla fragrances, but even though your collection is vanilla-heavy I feel like I could listen to you describe perfumes all day long lol. I do love musks and ambers so we are in accord there, plus you seem very knowledgable so I feel like I am learning. I can't wait for part 3!

From this bunch I have Samsara and wicked good! Such a cool selection. I can’t stop staring at the bottles over your shoulder and trying to figure out what they are… are they spirit of kings? Or maybe puredistance.. 🤔 on to part 3!

I love how diverse your collection is. Compared to you I’m very brand loyal and once I click with a house, the gates are open. Point in case: Jo Malone 😂 (although I consider myself to be cured from having to get whatever they release). I’m looking forward to to watching the next letters!

I think I'm one of the only people that doesn't like Wood, Sage, and Sea Salt. Sage and wood smoke are the 2 notes that never work for me, at least not yet.

I really want One Umbrella for Two. So happy I found a SDV in these current bottles for a good price, seeing them going for $100 more than what I got for it. I will miss the sleeker bottles 😩. Also have Wood Sage and Sea Salt, but haven't worn it in a long time. Thanks, Tara!

Did I miss some of your hauls...didn't realize you picked up Iris Torrefie and Rose Barbare 🤑I've been enjoying Iris Torrefie, too bad it never got a lot of hype from fragcomm...I think it should get more credit, it smells exactly as its olfactive description. Glad to see the current ones staying in the Art of Materials collection.

The Guerlain art of materials (and elixir charnel) bottles are beautiful. They have a unique look, like bottles of booze. Wonder why they're changing them?

I really love your videos and your knowledge, but I do not understand why you mention the perfumers / creators, especially if you cannot pronounce them or are not sure about them. Everything great besides that. So excited about the new Guerlain releases. Best regards, Monika

Thanks so much! I like to give them the credit they deserve since it's really them and not the brands that bring the fragrances to life. I do my best with pronunciation but sometimes it's hard to find video/audio of how some of their names are pronounced (especially for ones that don't have many creations).

The Guerlain bottles are going to be released in 100ml and the prices are being increased, I like the old bottles and did not want to take chances about reformulation as well. I purchased my back up from Mercari.

someone on the fb group femme fragheads shared a premature post from the French Guerlain site a couple of weeks ago. They listed all the frags that are being put in the new bottles and most of the art and materials were included as well as 2 new ones. NO mention of the gourmand coquin or anything from the other two exclusive lines (Elixer charnels and the bee bottles/les parrisiennes?).

The prices will go even higher as time goes by if they discontinue all of those frags at the same time...I think it is totally bizarre to do that all at the same time. I wish they would do some kind of press release. Even the SA's at the big stores (Vegas) don't have the answers.

About guerlain- yes, they are repackaging some of their collections, but when released, they will cost cost almost double of their original price 😕

Yeah, I heard the price is increasing but they're also going to be 100ml instead of 75ml. Still bet they'll be a bit more per ml to capitalize on their popularity.

Apparently they are repackaging SDV and others from the line, they will be 100 ml instead 75 ml and price will increase to 310 or something?

Yeah, that's what I heard regarding the size as well. I guess if 75ml was $260 then 100ml will likely be in that $300+ range.

@@aquababy5 Hi, I am afraid I heard new updated information from Sebastian from smelling great channel where he discussed new Guerlain collection with pictures of new bottles and apparently it’s not there🙁. I also heard it might be just made very exclisifs and just be sold in Guerlain boutiques, so who knows. Also Claire from smurphy girly did video on this new collection, so you might want to check that out.

@@valerieb2813 in that case it is one of those fragrances where I might be willing to go for a dupe instead. Going for $400-500 a bottle online now, it’s just ridiculous.
