Great collection, wasn’t dull and thanks asking my questions. Quite surprised that you didn’t keep your Fun & Games Video because it’s very sought after these days.
Thanks mate. What happened was, I moved house in 2009 with my mum and a year before I had got the Boxset DVD. I got rid of some of the videos due to moving house, and I bought a few off ebay again much later on for like I say, nostalgic reasons and liking the cover artwork and I forgot to say, my apologies, my favourite doctors are Eccleston, Tennant and Pertwee.
Really, mind you that seems to be common when moving properties but at least you still got your favourites 😉 to cherish, pass over by generations and all that jazz. Decent picks for Doctors 👍 Tennant’s Doctor is my least favourite (he’s a good actor don’t get me wrong) I find his version of the character too popular and how he was written half the time during his tenure being a powerful arrogant bastard with a raging boner for blondes. Favourite Doctors - off the top of my head: Troughton, McCoy and McGann.
@@theoriginalbeing133 I reckon if I had kids they wouldn't even like WITW I know what my luck is like lol. It would've been nice if i had kept that video, it probably was my favourite out of the ones I had before teens
@@bazbanter9329 I personally like them. Regarding the 1983 version while the soundtrack and Voice acting is great i personally find the cinematography to be bleak and the characters on close shots to be kind of creepy
I'd recommend copying all the episodes from the DVD box sets on to a hard drive. To ensure you have permanent copies in case of a mishap with the DVD disks. Because those DVD box sets are now deleted and out of stock. They can now only be rarely purchased second hand for over £100. Also, the full version of the Yuletide Entertainment was released in DVD quality on the USA (Region 0 playable in the UK) series 1 box set. Available here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174728242896?hash=item28ae9d66d0:g:SncAAOSwmN9gcwcx. Also, the Winter Tales carry case DVD is available here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164399157294?hash=item2646f4102e:g:3KEAAOSwVOBfbHhu
Hi, Andy. Hope you enjoyed the video. Yes, it's a shame about the DVD sets. I did manage to put some episodes on some USB sticks a while back, but not all of them. Back then, I had a laptop with a built-in DVD player to rip some DVDs. My new laptop doesn't have a DVD player though and yes, since filming this video, I managed to buy the series 1 US version, brand new off eBay, so, I do have the full version of the Yuletide Entertainment now :) . I don't think I will bother buying a Winter Tales UK DVD though on its own, purely because of the edited Yuletide Entertainment
