My Epic Steam Adventure: Episode 7 - Reading and Northern 

For this episode, our adventure takes us to one of the most exciting steam adventures in the US - an all day, 60 mile excursion behind recently restored Reading and Northern 4-8-4 #2102. We're going to ride from Reading Outer Station to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania and return. And for a bonus, during the layover in Jim Thorpe we will ride a one hour diesel excursion through the scenic Lehigh River Gorge.
This was expected to be the showpiece of our adventure, and it did not disappoint. The Reading and Northern only offers these excursions a few times a year. If you're thinking about joining them on one of their future trips, make sure you watch this all the way through.
