Many women in these situations are unable to focus long enough to realize that the man himself has cheated and that is why he is accusing them. The women are too busy dealing with the violence, fear, the apologies, legal consequences, financial worries, etc. to realize what is the root cause of that behavior-cheating on the part of the man.
