One of my exes I dated did this to me. Long story short, she left me for another dude. I pretty much died for nearly 2 months. I would always imagine my ex having sex with the other dude and going to all the places we went to. It was bad lol. Then I decided that I need to get it together, so I started traveling solo and started opening myself to other girls. Long story short, my ex contacted me around 3 months after she pretty much told me to F off. She wanted to get back together even when she knew that I was already dating someone else. Seriously, I never would've thought that she would say, "Me and this guy aren't connecting. I really miss what we had." It's too bad that I learned to overcome all the BS and decide to stay with the other girl. What Craig says in his videos is super legit. I never ever ever ever would've thought that she wanted to get back together. Ex's feelings change. Sometimes it just takes time. In my case, it took her a while. She also compared the other dude with me and made her realize that I was her best option lol. Our feelings change too. Now I'm okay to never contact her again.
That's a great story. My ex left almost 2 months ago after overlapping for god knows how long - I think she still expects me to believe she just met this new person and is suddenly in a relationship. I would never take her back now but it would be highly satisfying to say thanks but no thanks!

The “new girl” unfriended me, and it really upset me because like, as crazy as it sounds, seeing her page and what my ex commented and things gave me peace, of like knowing exactly what’s going on between them. I don't usually comment on RU-vid, but I wanted to say that thank you so much Craig for making these contents and being there for thousands of people who shares the same pain. I was dumped around one and a half year ago, and have been working on my self and doing no contact since day one. I just discovered that my ex started a new relationship yesterday through my friend. The pain is so heavy and physical, I felt like I couldn't breathe. But within the pain, I know that this really does help me to finally move on and stop fantasizing about what we could have been. I will continue to better my self, no matter if they cared or not. I know my family and friends will always love me and will stay by my side. I came to learn that it's unexpectedly a good thing to experience a breakup, since that enables me to feel the love from other connections in my life (friendship , family etc.) more clearer than I ever had before. After 13 years my ex is in a new relationship three months after breaking up.The girl practically is living with him. the kicker here, right from the start of this new relationship he reached out to me. For six months he hid this relationship from me. We'd been talking about understand each others attachment style and really put the work in to learning to related. @@DiegooFXX my knowledge they're still together which honestly doesn't matter to me. Currently I'm feeling my best ever and was able to create a support system. Something I didn't have for many years and probably wouldn't have if she never broke up with me. So really it was blessing in disguise. That and I learnt some much about myself and others. So really if someone broke up with you take the opportunity to better yourself in every possible way. If you do that you'll be healthier and therefore attract healthier good people in your life. So if you're alone dealing with a break up. I highly recommend slowly develop a support system but do mind and understand that you can't talk about the samething for too long. I can on and on for hours on what I learned and ways that helped me.
Just found out my ex is seeing someone else. Its what I get for not getting rid of her SM completely... 3 months since the BU and 2 months NC. In a way, I am glad it happened cuz now I have just closed off all but blocking her number. I can finally close this chapter and move on.

Because if your ex does not realize it, your children will remember and grow with it. And time will do the rest. For my part, for the moment, I do not project myself into anything at all. I only focus on my kids and try to become a better version of myself.

I’m so thankful for these videos, I learn so much every day. I think a super important point to highlight in this video is when they talked about the guy who went through a lot of growth and the girl didn’t and went back to the ex who didn’t want her at all. She left a good man who was improving and making himself more valuable because she couldn’t handle someone like that. She was more than likely very insecure and controlling in certain ways and when she felt she lost that control over him and he was making himself more valuable than her, it freaked her out and she maybe felt worthless or not good enough next to him anymore or feared he would leave her for someone better- it was uncomfortable for her. So what does she do? She goes back to the ex that maybe was similar to her or less valuable all because it was more comfortable for her. Crazy stuff right there. I’ve noticed with my ex now that she has a rebound, it is clear that she has a much higher sexual market value than he does and it is clear that he is anxious because he is already posting the grand gesture on social media. When my ex felt I was going to upgrade my value when we were together, it freaked her out and she left me because she couldn’t control me in certain ways anymore. I bought a new car and started working out, she wanted no part of that. I even insisted and told her I wouldn’t leave her, I wanted her to have my children and be together forever. She was my woman. She has shown desperation, weakness and her avoidant tendencies. I know for a fact she didn’t fully process the breakup and she is using this new guy to ease her feelings, which is selfish. She’s not with him for the right reasons, thus it will not last. She’ll have no choice when they breakup, either process the emotions and come back to me, or continue to hurt yourself and others by jumping from relationship to relationship and not fix what’s wrong with you personally. Love you guys, you guys really have made a huge impact on me.

After 2 years of relationship, he asked for a space and time to sort things out. His parents engaged him to a girl from same culture as him and he tried to stand for me but at the end he caved in to his parent's wishes. I gave him 2 weeks space to think and when i came back he said he started having feelings for her and that his feelings for me started to fade.

Coach Craig can you please do a video about how ex’s can regress after breaking up with you? I’ve heard you mention a few times how the Applebee’s girl regressed to a younger version of herself after the breakup. This has happened with my ex, when I met her she seemed quite mature for her age and the entire time we were together she acted a certain way. Then after dumping me she started hanging out with a new group of friends including a new guy and just recently she reached out and we’ve hung out several times. The main thing I’ve noticed is that she acts like a completely different person, she acts very immature almost like a teenager. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around it. On the flip side I feel like I’ve matured and grown a lot since the breakup because I’m determined to not make the same mistakes I’ve made in the past. Because of her regression it doesn’t seem like she is seeing the changes I’ve made. It’s like both of our emotional states are at two different levels when during the relationship they were the same. Now she’s even farther apart from me because she’s at a childlike level and I’m making an attempt at being an adult. Our wave lengths are on two completely different levels so I’m having a hard time re-connecting with her. On top of all this she is hanging out with a new guy who is also very immature. The whole situation sucks.

Sam Hill I’ve had a similar experience. Found out my ex was hanging out with a new guy but she refers to him as her “buddy”. I finally hung out with both of them several times now after she reached out to me. Based on what I’ve seen it doesn’t seem very romantic but I know for a fact he’s trying to have some sort of relationship with her. He’s also literally the exact opposite of me and doesn’t seem like her type. When she interacts with him she acts like a totally different person and not like how she acted when we were together. She tells me during the worst time of my life while going through the loss of a loved one. Why not assume that it might hurt me and not say anything about it at all? Why did she feel compelled to tell me that esp after we had been reconnecting LD over the phone? I would have just been blissfully unaware. Now, I am all messed up not eating and sleeping, thinking of her in someone else's bed. She said she told me because she thought we are friends. I told her that's what she wanted. I never djd and I told her goodbye. She apologized and said she won't call me anymore. What are the reasons they would tell you?
My breakup was due to my anxiety level and made me do crazy shit. Then the pandemic hit and because of that, my separation anxiety kicked in and made me sad and lash out at my girlfriend and get mad at her through text and such. She couldn’t take it she said and then I realized she was crying again.
The easier they can change their feelings, the less healthy they might be.....How very true. Excellent statement. My ex went from from love to no feelings within four days and this shocked me and almost traumatized me. Later I found out, that she is prone to depressions, had distance relationships and had an avoidant attachment style. I got a great advice from my step brother who is also a psychologist. He advised to quickly start dating and I found a new partner who is stable with her feelings and who desires a happy relationship.
I get why a rebound relationship typically doesn't work out because they don't know each other well yet, but what about someone who was an "overlapper" (i.e. cheater) for several months with someone new until they finally dump you and move on to that new person -- meaning by then they would already know that person better than a typical rebound relationship. Would you expect that relationship to have a better chance vs someone she met right after the breakup (i.e. rebound)? Or is it worse since it was built on deception?
I’m in the same situation, the new person was just waiting in line and she emotionally cheated and was always venting to him instead of me. They met 2 weeks before the breakup and I’m confident he encouraged her to leave the relationship and take advantage of her vulnerability after the breakup. Two months later they’re official now. The thing is it’s a long distance rebound from Washington and Nevada. My ex plans to move back to Vancouver next year permanently for school so it would’ve been long distance with me or this new guy anyways, but at least they will be closer. I’ve lost 30 pounds, realized what went wrong in the relationship on my part (such as not contributing/providing enough (she spent more money on me than I did on her) and being able to emotionally understand her) and already spinning plates/meeting new people. The pain and anxiety relapse sometimes knowing that I lost a good woman, but I know deep down she lost someone who would’ve never gave up on her. Either way she wanted to move back home to Vancouver for college next year and stay there permanently and my hospitality degree is so much more useful in Vegas, so long distance would just be an ongoing standoff between us. I just wish we could’ve spent her last year here in Vegas together, but she’d rather breakup and then jump into a long distance relationship with the guy she told me not worry about when I caught her flirting over text with him a week before she broke up with me🤷🏻♂️
My ex came off the dating website we met on, so she's probably in another relationship, I don't look at her social media or her friends just a disturbance in the force. It feels like the final nail in the coffin despite 4 months of no contact. My ex started talking to the girl 10 days after we broke up. But he emphasized to her that he doesn’t want to have a serious relationship, and of course the girl agrees. I know about this because this girl keeps stalking my social media accounts and even sending me messages (with the fake account) asking if I have a boyfriend. I stop putting my ex on the pedestal. But still want him back even if it’s seems so impossible, he reached out every week or two, but i think he has a grass is greener syndrome so it will take a loooong time and i’ll move on. Less than 24 hrs after my break up this week my ex was back on a dating site that we met on .Looking for a long term relationship he had down in his introduction after being together 3 yrs .I'm fuming/ heartbroken .

He said that he "regretted wasting time on me and was now looking to find the poor wonderful women he had been messaging with a view to dating when he decided to chase me and get me back again" my ex has abruptly broken up with me twice now....he puts me on this pedestal and when I show normal human failings he jumps ship. I go from goddess to demon in his eyes overnight. He has now imbued this other lady with goddess-like properties. I can see he is not able to integrate the negative with positive emotions at all, they are separate entities to him...he is 51 and I do not know if he can change himself now. I look forward to hearing a RU-vid on this as it explains my ex well. It will help me move on as my personal insecurity does make me struggle with self blame a lot. I want my next relationship to be healthier.

I didn’t even stalk, I fuckin stumbled on it while collecting a Venmo payment. Emotional ambush, sent me spiraling and I told my boss I was feeling sick and had to leave work. Cried so hard on my way home I almost ran a red light. What makes it worse was it is a guy she had a little fling with before we dated. So she was thinking of him the whole time we were together.
Well my Ex Husband ran off with a work colleague he already knew, it’s been 18mths and he is loved up and putting it on social media where our teenagers see it. We are getting divorced but I don’t understand how someone can leave their family without saying a word or trying to work on it.
She posted on Facebook that she’s in a new relationship. She made it public in the middle of December, we hooked up on thanksgiving, but on the relationship info it says the relationship started on December the 1st. Soo... I’m not sure if this can be considered a rebound relationship?? It’s been 2 months already and my depression and anxiety are ip to the ceiling.

My ex fiance broke up with me three months ago. we were together 4 years. we have a two year old daughter. i give or take one week after she broke up with me she was talking to a new guy. i found this out by checking her phone. i shouldnt of done it but she was being way to distant with me when we have a lot of obvious history. she told me that she wasnt talking to anyone before i seen it on her phone. when i pulled her up on it she told me they had been talking for a few weeks but it definately wasnt serious and they were just friends and that she wasnt talking to him while we were togther. I believe her in that respect. its been three months and she has repeatedly knocked me back and has told me shes been happy by herself and she doesnt have feelings for me anymore. everyone i ask for advice pretty much all tell me to move on and forget her. im finding it very hard to do so as i still very much love her want want to make up for my mistakes. what do you guys think?!? thanks for listening
Unfortunately, in my case is not rebound, however she tried to get into a rebound, but she only managed to find a replacement six months after. I'm done, I'm moving on.

I've been watching your videos now for about a month and a half I've been broken up for about three months she broke up with me I chased initially and I backed off a couple times she reached out we went back and forth try to do the friend thing I recently 2 days ago met up with her face-to-face told her I couldn't do it anymore because I found out she is dating another guy and not getting serious with him but dating him she been on three dates with him so she's obviously into him she told me she respected my decision but wanted to remain friends I told her know if she couldn't give me what I wanted out of the relationship which was to be with her romantically then I had to go and that's where I'm at right now

Same thing here... 15 years together, a good life, 2 young kids, no problems. And she decides to leave me for a guy 20 years older than her she just met. 2 weeks later they were already set up together, presentation to families, hand in hand at the school shows, and all that stuff ... It's going to be 4 months today, and I keep fighting every day to help my children get through this. And to become a better version, THE best version, of myself. But damn, how hard it is ...
It took my ex two weeks to start going out with another guy. I got to know it because he happens to be one of my bestfriend's acquaintances. It's hard to think it's a rebound because my ex just looks so over me. Even though I know he is the kind of person who would definitely do whatever it takes not to go through any pain. Anyway. Out of all of your videos, I'm surprised you don't have one on when to break no contact... Somebody always has to break no contact eventually. It would be really helpful to have some guidance on what situations in which the dumpee should be the one to break no contact first.
My ex of 6 yrs left me because he needed space but i have a feeling he was seeing someone I know he wouldnt admit it. But I finally went no contact and its the best thing I could of done. Now im more focused on myself and I see him call me every other day just to make sure Im sill there but nope I been rejecting his calls. That happened to me too.. and I hate that term "we need space" coz it almost always means, give me some time to see if my other option is a better fit!! If not, I'll consider keeping you around.. if I feel it's better, I'm gone! And the worst part is they probably started getting interested and speaking with this other person while they were still with u! I hope you're really doing well, it gets easier with time.. and work!
Adam Hattia oh yeah i know its too obvious when they avoid seeing you for a whole month and say its because im too “annoying “ and giving him too much attention ha its stupid. But 6 yrs wasnt easy to move on but im gettting better day by day! Im a weeek of no contact tomorrow and i see him call me every other day to make sure im there NOPE✌🏼

It never lasted and she gave up on me for what? Someone who completely took advantage of her.. one bit of advice Michelle if I may, don't count the days, and make sure you know what you want too, with regards to him that is.. whether you wana try again or not
I have the same exact story of the guy Craig mentions; it feels really bad being replaced out of the blue, especially if you’ve done a lot of inner work and even though you still lose. Mine happened this January and I’m still struggling with moving on :/

I thinking more my ex had some sort of split personality. She is so different now to the day I first met her. That is what is so hard to understand. One day they seem to be so happy you have come into their live. And made them feel better about themselves. Especially when their previous boyfriends where very nasty to her or so she says. All I did was be kind caring and did anything for her. I've been told I don't have a nasty bone in my body so the saying. And I often think now shes just taken advantage of that. Soon after the break up she's staying round one of my new friends. It just seems the timing works out so well. What it seems is when she said well go on a short break from each other is around the same time I became friends with this guy she's now seeing. But I'm guessing as she must have liked him more or for some reason after a month or so she decides we need to separate completely and stops staying around mine and immediately is sleeping around what is suppose to be my friend. Because I haven't known him long he doesn't know what I'm like or how I truly felt about my ex and they claimed that at first they just saw each other as friends but eventually after seeing how I reacted and getting so upset and confused my ex admitted they were seeing each other. I see that them being together forever like mentioned in this video. But as I've found out that actually my ex is that sort of person and can just jump straight from one person to the next with not a care in the world for how much she's hurt me. I know now it wasn't worth one of my tears. Hopefully I'll learn from this in the future. But of course situations like this make me think it will be a very long time before I trust or even want to have anything to do with another woman. I believe its difficult to know how long any relationship will last if they will work or not. Some couples are meant to be and some are not. I'm pushing forty and it just seems to get harder to have the confidence to even try again. Its like trying to look for the perfect woman out there who will stay with you and love you forever no matter what. Its always nice the thought of settling down and one day being a father. You see plenty of teenagers these days walking around with push chairs. I guess the way it is that you only get one life and always assume your only be happy having a girlfriend or settling down but most of my adult life being single is not so bad its often the constant rejections by these women that I guess because how guys brains work look amazing and sometimes they are but not necessarily right for me. The right personality has to be there for anything to work as well. I've only watched a few of these videos on this channel but they have made sense instantly the moment I read them. Probably now I'm more looking at how to improve my confidence and be brave enough to go out there and start talking to women again. Otherwise staying single and having no contact with other woman I guess won't help my confidence. When you stay single for ages you get use to it and adapt you whole life around it. Probably I'm actually looking for a very complex woman as I'm sure I know myself that I'm a very complex individual and spends a good 70 to 80 percent of every day thinking about a thousand things all at once. I'm not sure many women could cope with that. Somehow I need to calm myself down but that's like trying to change who I am .

Wow this is one of the best videos I’ve seen especially the integration at 18mins - @Coaches please please can you do a video where Coach M does come back to this on another day? The whole video I can’t express how much I felt all of that every word the coaches have said and how much all of this resonates with me and calmed me down - they didn’t value or appreciate us and all the time we spent together meant nothing to them and I meant nothing to them and after all good stuff you’ve done too - they can still walk away? They make it feel like you did absolutely nothing good to meet their needs while they selflessly met yours? They paint this narrative of you in their head in order to justify dumping you. When Coach M states at 12minutes was the most vital line I have ever heard from all my videos across so many channels over the last 2yrs of my healing process - ‘how we mustn’t think it was all our fault but rather how our ex missed all the good things about us we thought they would have understood?’ You question if all they did was ‘fake’ - exactly as coach m says she believes they are for most part sincere up until the breakup - I guess I have only after a long time finally given him benefit of doubt to say he didn’t fake the feelings before when you feel after they left they must have right? The worse is when they leave you not wanting to try to talk to you or reconnect - I know sumx they can be in rebounds but what about if they had already started long term friendships inappropriately with others and females ? That doesn’t just ‘end’ because now that person and them have been connecting way longer then you two have just before the breakup 😔 so I guess all this warm person you once knew is so cold to you it’s because they have switched it off and I have to accept dumpers just have to do it so they don’t feel guilty when they do dump you 😢 and maybe they truly have just moved on - loved you before but accept when you were with them you remind them of too much a painful period in their life that they can’t even stand to look at you or be with you since you remind them of this massively unhappy time in their life. As if you were sole cause of their unhappiness and for the relationship not succeeding 😔 Keep strong guys and keep at it. Your healing is imminent.
