My experiances with Hohner CX12 harmonica

The greatest negative with this model is that the plastic groove holding its back lock is very thin for the tension it is exposed to and for that reason, it often breaks.

Hello .. I have a Hohner cx12 . I m just not able to play some notes like E and G .. whenever it’s rainy weather ( moisture in the air ) . Otherwise also whenever there is even a little amount of humidity these notes don’t play clearly . Does anyone has the same experience? And what’s the solution for it .. thanks for any help you may provide

this thing just screams Germany. From the design to the well-madeness. Actually one of the more affordable german pieces out there. If you are in photography or audio german equipement normally means death to the wallet. This a working men could afford. Even with a little saving.

Q U E S T I O N , P L E A S E - P R O B L E M THAT'S UNIQUE TO THE CX-DESIGN CHROMATICS: Unlike the traditional-style chromatics, which merely need the cover plates removed in order to re-adjust any reed, the CX design is somewhat of a problem in that the slide is difficult to hold in place to adjust & play the reeds with the housing/cover removed. Has anyone discovered a solution to facilitating such type of maintenance to the CX-DESIGN chromatics? Thanks a million for any help.
