My Experience with Anxiety and Depression | Thank You Letters form Duarte High School 

I recently had the opportunity to speak to over 200 students at Duarte Hugh School about my experience with anxiety and depression. In this vlog I will read and share with you thank letters I received from those awesome young people. I told the story of how my addictions started and throughout my 20's I wasn't aware that I was severely depressed and self medicating myself to cope with emotional pain. I developed some pretty nasty habits. I didn't share my story or feeling's with anybody fo r a very long time. I figured I was strong enough mentally and emotionally to deal with it on my own. I was only fooling myself. It wasn't until I was in my late 20's that I hired a therapist and told my family members. It has helped exponentially. To the students of Duarte High, I love you guys and thank you for being vulnerable with me. I will keep these letters forever.
