AHHH I just opened my laptop to FINALLY do some damn work. I go to RU-vid to listen to music, and I see this... an extra 18 minutes won't hurt I guess Edit: No, I will watch this once I've done at least 30 mins of work, otherwise I'll never get anything done >.< Also edit: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I really love how you don’t just end the video after not completing a stage in your run, you always go back to beat it or check it out and that’s really cool. Thanks for all that you do.
I love how you just get into the gameplay and not talking some shit that has not got to do With what we want to see, Like, "i think ill start streaming fortnite for the next 25 years or so" Like i said earlier thankyou for just getting into the gameplay and what we came here for, Keep it up! 😀
Seemed like a leisure walk in a park until that choke on stage 5, this run demonstrates quite perfectly what makes Super Expert so hard. One sadistically tough trick and even the god of Mario can be stopped for the time being. My idea for Super Expert video is that when you finish a run successfully, you should continue your next run with the amount of lives that were left from the previous run, and see how far you can get!
I HAVE to stop watching these videos! I've been working on a course to really challenge Ryu for almost an entire month, but watching him pick apart every single mistake in level design is gonna give me an aneurysm,, sheesh..
The only playthrough of Mario maker I have ever watched is game grumps. So coming from there to here is just WOW WHAT. I didn't know someone could be this good lol
These comments confuse me...... Yes he is very close to the spike But he was in the triple jump animation soooo... And I don’t know where the r/whooosh came from
Super ghouls and ghosts, Shadow of the beast, Dragons lair, Cave story, Alex kidd in miracle world, Penguin land, Castlevania SOTN, Crash bandicoot insane trilogy, Binding of isacc... all games that would be amazing to stream! I was born in 81, first console was intelevision, then sega master system and pretty much every console from there on out. The master system has many amazing and super challenging games!
Mario is the modern day archetypal hero. He persists in the face of great adversity even when sent back to the beginning. He never suffers from existential against. He carries on even when his struggle seems without purpose, reward, or finality. His persistence is what leads him to success and his continued life of adventure. Perhaps we should all strive to be like Mario.
It's the little things that matter. 😎The intro is smooth and short unlike those loud ass fucking 3min long ones. He skips to where he left off if he died. He actually completes the levels and doesn't skip. Nice!
So busy with writing this final paper for a class, I completely forgot today's SMM Tuesday. Thanks for the break in the monotony these past few days Ryu. Hope you're having a good time on vacation! :)

Highly recommend the following: NES Batman: Not too long. Real tough game. It's a great game for a video. NES Street Fighter 2010: Another tough one. I'm sure you've seen AVGN beat it NES Battle Kid series: Nes homebrew. Real tough and totally awesome.
Ryu: * Gets cape * Also Ryu: * Proceeds to cheese whole level * ALSO also Ryu: _I flew with the cape for a full length of a stage, get that garbage outta here!_
Try Super Meat Boy for the Extraordinarily Hard Games series. For Super Expert, you could skip all levels that don’t have a certain theme (e.x.: skipping all except castle levels, or skipping all except for Mario 3 stages). It would defeat the no skip part but you still wouldn’t be able to skip the stage once you’ve found it. You could make multiple videos with this idea too!
I admire you for doing stage 3 at all, I could not follow where you were at all because the scenery screwed with my eyes so bad. It's similar to how 3d does for my eyes as well.
Why though? It's a very easy and unbalanced game. Yes, it has amazing visuals and music but it's very boring to watch. Once you get the walk mail (which isn't even hidden anywhere, it just sits in plain sight somewhere in the first third of the game) you have enough DEF to spamtank any boss for the rest of the game. Safe for the electic lizard with the mace in reverse underground, but that's a bonus boss anyways.
Omg Battle Toads yes! Make sure you call gamestop and try to get a hard copy, it's a secret that most of them have hidden stashes and give them out for dirt cheap.
“Every time I miss that...” sounds like your first big country music hit song Ryu 😛 Also, what about 100 Mario in reverse order? Super Expert, Expert...etc. has that been a suggestion already? Maybe it makes the easier levels slightly more interesting?
100-man suggestion -- Expert, must cheese every level. If you can't find a way to beat the level via a non-intended route, you have to skip. Many levels are cheesable but not all, so dying trying to find cheese might make it very interesting....
New challenge for SUPER EXPERT: Double Run, do two super expert no skips in a row and keep the number of lives leftover from the first run into the second
Hilarious video. 😂 As for a 100 man challenge I think it would be cool if you did a super expert run normally 1st, and then if you beat it, do another one but however many lives you ended off with is how many lives you need to start off the 2nd run with. ex: beat 1st SE with 20 lives, start 2nd SE with 20 lives. I wonder if the legend ryu himself can pull it off? 😉
