Taking out my fathers 2009 38’ Donzi ZRC w/ COBRA POWER UPGRADED 1075s for a rip around miami Follow us on instagram (Boat vibes) #mercuryracing #raceboat #offshore #miami #powerboat #boat #donzi #boat #vibes
I know the odometer reading shows 137 mph but just me it didn’t look like you guys even got close to go over 100 mph. Speeding on a boat is allot harsher then when in a vehicle or even a motorcycle. To me it looks like you all were doing maybe 75 at top but I don’t doubt your boat can reach higher speeds but just my opinion from being on a electric cigarette speed boat a few times and hitting 135 mph at the almost top speed.
Actually the dumbest comment Ive seen in quite some days. The "odometer" is a gps reading, its not a car. A lightweight 38 zrc with twin 1075 hp can cruise at 75mph, even center consoles made for fishing can cruise at that. For gods sake just look at the traffic on the side and how he fly`s past them - and do some simpel maths before you post stupid "opinions" with no prior experience in the field. Also can you post vid/pics from when you was on the electric cig? I would guess you have some good ones, since you are one of very few people in the world that has experienced that.
Not many people who have the skill set to run like your Father , he does and is truly a joy to share with us his passion! Thanks for sharing a small part with those who will likley never experience the real deal..I would love to see some of his other beautiful toys as well! Thanks to you both from Washington State. your dad is an animal. you can really tell that he know what he’s doing watching him work the throttles in the chop in the beginning of the video. takes a lot of skill and time to learn. beautiful boat
Man this brings back memories of when my Dad and I did this on our Donzi back in '87....Talk about nostalgia,..thx so much for posting! Brings back soooo many memories,...
Out of all the go fast boats I've seen on RU-vids, this is by far my favorite. Yeah the speed is impressive as heck, but the color combo and the sound of those monster engines are just unreal cool. The rooster tail too, just wow. Boat safely fam
This Past weekend my Wife and I had the pleasure of meeting a U.S. Air Force Brigadier General /Fighter Pilot while in Tampa. Small World , While sharing your content over cocktails. It turns out he is an Old friend of your Dad's, & knows you. (Called you a Good kid). He seems to truly LOVE your Dad. He told us some cool flying stories with pops. Also, some nice insights about him as a person. Seems it turns out your, Pops is the real deal. You are a very lucky young man,God Bless you both. I would really enjoy meeting you both one day. Thank You for what you do. Please extend too your dad my thanks for the things he has done. We Love the vibe!
Been on a smaller boat with one of those engines doing about 80. And it terrifyingly fast when on water. 130+ with dual motors take 🏀 s of steel. You dad’s skill and confidence is condemnable, salute. Take years to do this, his feel for the boat has to be amazing.
Love going 100 plus in boat designed to do it safely. It was so stable even in a bit of chop. Engine sound is as intoxicating as the view of landlubbers staring in disbelief on shore.
You are The kings of The sea..👍.. This boat is crazy... Like a untamed beast... Its a pure joy and excitement to see you drive this beast.. Bless You al. And hope gasoline never goes away 🤗🦸♂️🙏
This is a sweet boat, thanks for taking us along for the ride. What kind of drives are those? The algae bloom or what ever that brown mess is at the dock is gross and I bet clogs up some engine strainers. Hello from NC.
Cool dad with a machine outta hell :D Love that! Greetings from Germany... 125mph is my quite standard travel speed on Autobahn but this on water looks funny :) Nice boat !
I appreciate that dude and his crew catching video with this boat! Seen 2 videos of this dude and crew, appreciate it man!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!! Donzi Custom 🥵
Brother !!!!! I fucking FELT like I was in the boat with YA!!!!!! Dammm amazing video MAD PROPS to you and your POPS keep up the good work hope to meet you all sooner or later on the water. 🤙👍 God bless be safe and keep killing the throttle!!!!
Nothing absolute nada beats 2.big block v8 whit compressors...the donzi is pure beauty inside and outside... How needs a stereo whit this v8. Music... Electric cars and boats have nothing to offer more then a slingshoot... No excitement.. Keep the donzi... Never sell.. Buy others to play whit.. Bless you al boys💪🙏
Good lord what a beautiful boat! Looks like a hoot. I did 80 MPH on the water a couple of times in a twin V6 mercruiser out drive I borrowed. Scariest thing I've ever done in my life. Scarier than 160 MPH down the drag strip and scarier than 120 MPH on the freeway on a motorcycle. One errant piece of log or flotsam and you're history. Awesome video! Thank you for letting me live vicariously and thank you for not putting some damn music track in and letting us hear those engines sing. Take care and be careful out there.
Exactly, the frames of reference are very different for the mind, my first three digit ride was in an 18 foot inland lake boat with a 400 in.³ Chevy small block inside the Breakwall office Cleveland, it was freaking awesome, my friend built the engine but wouldn’t go for the ride ha ha ha, broke the flex plate though and had to get towed
That boat is cool as heck! Sound? I actually like it quite a bit when you slowed down to pass under the bridges. I could hear it really well then! Stay safe!
Do there boats have automatic rev limiters? I see the operator is adjusting the throttle but if he us a bit slow catching some air could cause a major over-rev.
Wow Beautiful Boat. I have to ask , is that a Twin Set of Superchargers on each motor. Hard for me to tell or I just don't know what I'm looking at. 2400hp 1200 each. That is BAD ASS. Your pop should be on a race team. Thanks dude....
