I'm disappointed about the absorbency of the Blueberry Simplex too... But with a hemp booster they work 2 hours for my heavy-ish wetter. I do still like to use them, because the rolled elastics are so gentle on his big thighs :)
I wouldn't say hard, but sometimes it is annoying on certain diapers. I would say the kaleimamo with the inserts on the same side is more annoying than ones with inserts on opposite ends.
