Add fresh garlic and kimchi, toast it a bit then add water, seasoning and noodles. Half way thru cooking the noodles, add a handful of frozen seafood mix, finish cooking noodles. Then turn the heat on high and crack an egg - let it simmer a bit and turnoff the stove and add green onions. The egg will finish cooking to a soft boil when you finish setting up. If I’m lazy, half a can of tuna as the protein and call it a day.

It is still "instant" ramen. No ramen is instant. "Instant" ramen still takes around 5-10 minutes to make which is still way shorter than the time it takes to make actual ramen

The shin instant noodle is really good noddles but we bought a Sichuan chili crisp sauce from Costco and use that for spice instead of the packet. Spicy and delicious

These and the black pack are my absolute favorite instant ramen. I keep the black packs on hand always. I'll likely be eating it for lunch today because I have some green onions and mushrooms that need to be cooked and some leftover rotisserie chicken from last night that also needs to be cooked. That's my favorite way to eat it. Cook the mushrooms (I like A Lot of mushrooms) and some minced garlic in the pot before adding the water then top it off with the green onions (I also like A Lot of green onions too) and left over chicken. The added mushrooms are a must.

I feel like if you’re going to the lengths of the steak, you may as well have soaked your eggs as well (search ajitsuke tamago for more info) and if you’re an avid ramen eater, you can have your eggs ready / marinading in a container in the fridge for future recipes

Try my favorite combination for Shin Black ramyun: cook the ramen as usual and leave the heat on. Throw in one or two eggs based on preference and whisk it in. Not only does it add flavor to the ramen but u also get little chunks of egg that are just 🤌
