Well done! We were just out there on Tuesday and didn’t catch a fish and didn’t see any of 25 boats catch any either. Nice job finding them in slack water and figuring out the blade bait cadence they could hone in on!
Tony Duncan 3 days ago Those fish were sauger and were dandies. And there was no white tip on those fish. There was a white line along the bottom of the tail fin as sauger have. Walleye and saugeye have a much more distinct white tip on bottom corner of tailfin.
Do you cast down stream and reel back against the current? You do this method near damns? How are the snags? I live in the quad cities a few pools down river
I like your channel and wanted to ask if you think those lures worked here in some of our rivers Will get some action? Primarily crappie (speckled perch) is what I’m after. I think they get tired of seeing the same old stuff. Thanks for the videos, they are great !!
I personally like the medium light rods for jigging myself. Some people like using medium heavy with a mono Line to give it a little more play on the tension
Great looking baits, especially the Berkley, only thing, those weather conditions are too much for this southern boy. Great video Brother. Brrrrrrrr....
Saugeye. The dorsal fin webbing rays were broken and camouflage like splotches say sauger. However, the wite tip says walleye. Crossbreed fish are named saugeye.

@@calebwistad We went yesterday to the petenwell dam caught a few just below the slot. They had the dam open so the water was a little colder. Weather was beautiful though.
