@@t_dinkster2355 the game wasn't fun for me. simple as that. the shift to more linear level design felt like a bad turn for 3d mario and i found it much less fun than the sandbox games like sunshine and 64 (odyssey wasn't out at the time)

Gameboy SP: Pokémon leaf green, Pokémon emerald GameCube: Sonic adventure 2 battle, the original Pokémon Colosseum and Luigi's mansion Wii: Sonic colours, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario party 8 Nintendo DS: Pokémon conquest, Pokémon platinum, Sonic rush, Bakugan defenders of the core and Mario kart DS Nintendo 2DS: Fire emblem awakening, Pokémon ultra Moon and Dragon Ball evolutions Nintendo switch: Mario Odyssey.

I agree soooooooo heavily on Donkey Kong Country 2. That game cemented itself in my childhood and even in my adult life, I absolutely love that game to death. The music, atmosphere, gameplay, features, everything about the game I simply love.

These are my personal favorites for each console. NES = Super Mario Bros. 3 Game Boy = Super Mario Land SNES = Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Virtual Boy = Mario Clash N64 = Mario Kart 64 Game Boy Color = Super Mario Bros. Deluxe Gamecube = Super Smash Bros. Melee DS = Mario Kart DS Wii = Super Smash Bros. Brawl I really don't have any favorites for 3DS, Wii U, and Switch.

When this came out, I was already playing 3d World on my new (pre-owned) Wii U I bought the system for 120ish dollars earlier this month, and the previous owners had 2 full digital games on there: Mario and Sonic at the Sochi Olympics (eh) and 3d World! I was definitely influenced by your praises of 3d World when I made the purchase, but I didn't know I'd get the game already installed. I really love the game so far, so thanks for repeatedly suggesting the game, might be my favorite or 2nd favorite 3d Mario

That's awesome to hear! It might be hard during quarantine, but if you ever can, I'd highly suggest getting some people to play 3D World multiplayer with! It adds a whole new chaotic aspect to the game haha

3:24 BK is probably one of my all time favorites. Easily the best n64 game. I love SM64 but i think the best parts of it were amplified in BK. Plus it has so much charm. The characters in SM64 aren't bad they're just kinda there.

Pretty good choices. It's always nice to hear games you don't typically think about. Most of my picks for the older Nintendo consoles are the more well known ones, but my picks for the newer consoles tend to be lesser known games. If I had to give my list, I'd probably go with: NES- Zelda II GameBoy- Zelda Link's Awakening SNES- Yoshi's Island N64- Zelda Majora's Mask GameCube- Chibi Robo GBA- Crash Bandicoot The Huge Adventure DS- Mario & Luigi Partners in Time Wii- Super Paper Mario 3DS- Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse (I just can't pick one over the other) Wii U- (Never owned one) Switch- Mario + Rabbids (Though this one is going to change the exact moment Shin Megami Tensei V comes out)
