My little girl that is not so little anymore (9th grader) is learning to love her hair and she enjoy telling others(Here in the South) if ask why her hair looks the way that it look because Its natural she will quietly say. Her hair is growing (About 12inches now) but we spent the Summer in the pool and all kind of issues came about. Saying all of that I would like to say thank you for your advice and honesty. You have restored my little girls faith in who she is and this is something my money couldn't buy and I say again thank you for helping me show my little girl her natural beauty.I am sure that one day my daughter will pass along what she has learned here to another.

I don't know if this is being ghetto or not, but I like to get the last drop out of all sorts of containers so I usually cut with scissors or a knife to scoop out the last bits of whatever is inside. Sometimes there's enough liquid coated on the inside for 1 or two hair-washes, to lotion your body 3-4 times, or enough sauce to make another pasta. Thought I'd put that out there for everyone!!!!

I've been watching your videos now for years now and I just wanted to say thank you for being the inspiration that I needed to be proactive in my life. After overcoming the initial hesitation and going natural, I felt more empowered to be the person I've always wanted to be. I'm sure you already know this, but I needed to make sure that you know exactly how helpful you are.

I find it hilarious when people say she doesnt have hair like most black women. Yet her texture is coily. Must be talking length wise. Black women are making progress in that department. Best believe.

You are such an inspiration, by the way. I'm 1 year and 3 months natural and your hair journey vids motivated me to get off the "creamy crack". There are tons of natural hair gurus on youtube with gorgeous hair and helpful tips, but you are my favorite by far! I just love your personality. You seem so down to earth and humble. You are absolutely beautiful inside and out!

Hi. Just wanted to say your videos and info are great! I am currently transitioning to natural. About 6 months in. My relaxed hair was past my shoulders in length. I've been all over RU-vid and Pinterest scouting for tools, tips, and ideas to help me through this process, because I am just not ready for the BC! I just started following you today, and its safe to say I've found a home! THANKS!!

Tip! If you live in Canada, Fresh Co and some other grocery stores sell Aloe Vera leaf, like 2 foot long huge leaf, for 2 dollars. It lasts weeks! I just scoop out some and blend it and use it for both skin and hair And my son's hair and skin mixes. Guess what--I am still one my leaf, after 3 weeks!!!

@facialdiva21
@facialdiva21 11 лет назад
I can't wait to see the new video for the mud wash. I just wanted to add that I'm sorry another poster had difficulties with aloe, but it is not acidic, rather it balances Ph levels and is an anti inflammatory and often used to treat ulcers. Acid cannot be used to treat ulcers. It also contains an enzyme (often mistaken for an acid) that stimulates new hair growth and is used in the treatment of Alopecia. Info came from a professional and was backed by a doctor.
