If I'm able to and I'm pretty sure I'll accomplish it, by the time you achieve at least 35 countries...I will contribute to getting you new wheels just to make you feel welcome again in Namibia. I won't stop watching your content coz you tube pays you a small fee, but that's minimal!
Don't/can't drink Water....draught beers are the best there.... Walvis Bay was a disappointment after staying in Swakop.... Namibia is very fascinating though, wherever one goes ... went in October and was very hot.... Would recommend it at a shot! pastries are tops .....
@@africalisa your right, striking a fine balance between economics vs protection of the environment, fortunately i can confirm that the bikes are restricted to certain areas, which does help a bit, but the little creatures will of course still go into these areas.
Thank you so much , beautiful country . When I retire here in the US in the next 5 years I will be buying a home in Swakopmund, originally from South Africa but have been abroad for 35 years . Be safe and thank you .
@@NickfrNamibia People always think you need all this gear to be a content creator. Its more so the doing and being yourself that matters and you have plenty of that :) Your production can only get better and better my friend
Love this videos and your happy vibes. Would you say Namibia is a good place for young expats? Thinking about moving to Swakopmund or Windhoek. Thanks 😊
One of the better in Africa...probably depends on where you are from? things are a lot slower and you need to get used to not getting everything you are used to
more than half of that video is in Swakopmund and the rest in close vicinity. Not the Erongo coast. I am a Namibian, this is my country, and if you want me to explain to you what the Erongo coast is I will gladly do it. Thanks for watching!
there were some guys hanging out there watching me....they do this, wait for you to go to the top of the dune and then break into your vehicle. I didnt want to take the risk. As soon as I came down, the left as well. Very suspicious
We are planning a trip to Namibia. Really enjoying your channel and videos. We learned a lot! Keep them coming PLEASE!!!! So Cape Town is very pet friendly holiday destination. How is Namibia? We travel all over SA with our tiny Yorkie. I know we won't be able to do Etosha and parks with a pet. But overall how is Namibi regarding traveling with a pet?
Travelling with pets will create issues. You will have to contact individual places to confirm, but I can tell you the majority of places wont allow pets.
Your 'music' team may not realize it but the music you're playing sounds like a 'take off' from Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Boxer' only you don't get to the Chorus.
I'll check👍 the music is supplied independently and approved for online use. Trust me, RU-vid will strike it immediately if there's an issue. Love that song by the way!
Dankie
Hi Roelene, dis moeilik want tans verander alles so vinnig.
Dankie
In Namibia?
The first thing Mandela did after becoming president was to excuse his wife from her involvement with the kidnapping and murder of Stompie Seipei, a 14 year old black boy. Not handing Walvis Bay to Namibia.
You are most likely right and I wont disagree with you, I definitely don't know exactly what the first thing is he did. That's why I said one of the first things...the devil is in the detail. There was a list of initial corrections Mandela made, the handover was not immediate, but the fact that SA became democratic in 1994 and Walvis Bay handed back in the same year is evidence of the priority this matter took.
Yes Mandela had no power to act until 1994 since he was not head of state though his stance was very clear on Walvis Bay. . So it's therefore realistic to know that handover of Walvis Bay officially took place sametime when there was government changeover in SA in 1994.
