What impresses me most about your flying is your map awareness and tactical awareness in general: knowing where enemy infantry (and AA) are most likely to be given the current state of the objectives, as well as when enemy planes are likely to show up. Nice video.

I think the pineapple wrench is not working right now. Your self-repair speed should take 25% longer but in this video it seemed to have the same speed as normal self-repair. That was the main reason I don't pick this path for g2. Nice flying anyway.

You need to try the spotting cam specialisation, guaranteed to top the scoreboard if you use it. You can spot out every enemy on the other team, racking up spot points and assists, plus makes strafing runs super easy. Only trade off is the rockets for bombs

Geez. I can count the times I've lost a Spit by doing a split-s on one hand. More often than not, a buddy joins them and then I'm getting dinged by 16 303's. Dude at 4:54 is like 'nah, eff it' One of my biggest problems is pitching up. I've remapped Spacebar to pitch up, which is great for long/sustained turns when being pursued, but when tracking an enemy, I'm tapping space bar to maintain aiming lead which results in a jerky movement as opposed to a smooth and linear pitch movement - whereas it looks like you are holding space to make smooth and linear pitch/heading changes (examples 6:42, 8:15, 9:44, 10:21, 11:07, 14:20, 14:36, 15:26, 15:42, 17:34 ...you get the idea). If I try to use the mouse for those smooth linear movements, it feels like my mouse is hyper-sensitive. It's all very frustrating. I started flying when I was 17 and worked my way up the ladder of single and double engine piston and turboprop's to corporate jets for the last 10 years. While I've never piloted a single seat military aircraft, I am a huge fan of WW2 aircraft and have a pretty good understanding of combat maneuvering, but have had very limited success translating that over to anything more than a handful of BFV kills before be being shot down. I've watched a few of your vids with the keyboard map overlay on Twitch, which at times seem like youve got at least 6 fingers on your left hand. So it could be that my reflexes arent as fast as they once were, but still. I know comparing sensitivity and DPI from once player to the next doesn't carry much weight, but I'd love to see you include a mouse cam at some point. FWIW, I use 1200dpi, 8% vehicle aim and 150% aircraft control sens. edit: timestamps

Silk I think you’re one of the best pilots in this game and love all your content. I wanted to see if you could help me out with my aiming problem. Is there a trick that I’m missing out on because in a dog fight I’ve noticed your skills in taking out a target is crazy fast. In my case I’m chasing them around the whole freakin map before i take them out. I can fly and counter attacker’s just fine it’s just my aim is shit. I lead either to much or not enough, so is there a sweet spot like the distance on the cross hairs that you are focusing on or the tip of the other enemy plane. I just can’t get in tune with it it’s driving me crazy so if you could one day explain how to aim and where to aim I would appreciate highly also you would be the only person on RU-vid land that would create such a content.

the G2 is my favorite plane as well and i use the same plane loadout. what i like about this plane is the +30 health instant repair, which is handy when someone is chasing you, you can loop near the resupply icon and get instant health without repairing, and the rockets which is good against AA. on the Spitfire VA i use the one that repairs broken wing but doesnt give you extra health. i have tried the +30 health instant repair on the Spitfire VA but it is not the same as in the G2. it seems the Spitfire VA is weaker than the G2. but the VA machinegun is more powerful than the G2.

Sad that one has no radar. To get it you should change the shredder machineguns to the 20mms (bomber focused). That's dumb, since spit va can keep the mgs and the radar.

The speed of your rolls seems higher than what your settings would produce. Have you increased a setting to produce a faster roll since the settings video?

I find myself flying the G2 then going back to the G6 wanting the explosive rounds to be good but they just aren't anymore. Feelsbad. I like dicking on those small transports and occasionally getting those blob 6 man kills with the G6 so it's hard to switch xd.. Sick round btw

i dont get much enjoyment out of flying since the last patch, AA cannons are broken as fuck, they should balance em so they might hit realy hart, but at a slower rate of fire and slower bullet velocity, so it needs actual skill to use em.

The game is unbalanced! The AA doesn’t touch the planes and overheats so quickly but the planes are so OP they hardly ever get shot down! Fix the balance and then see how well you do!
