I always figured that Solo's thing was intentional. He's trying to carry himself as the Tribal Chief without having done any of the work to earn it, so the fans want Roman to come back and teach this fool a lesson.
Yeah, i was the same way years ago when AEW was in its infancy. They came to New York, and i was going to go, but then i looked at the ticket prices and was like, hold on. You want NHL money for an AHL game? Mind you, this is when half the roster were still nobodies. as far as big wwe events, i am like, wait you want me to pay how much not to be able to see much of anything? $10 a month on television? Okay, i rather sit at home
Also, I totally agree about blood. It feels like a relic of the old days where it was a good visual to show the live crowd that the babyface was hurting. Wrestlers should be taught to sell using body language and facial expressions, not cutting themselves with a razor.
Im an aew Day One super fan. It's lost it's identity for me.. Swerve match was prepped.. Other stuff not & it's too violent Live is not something we ever see on TV.. TV shows are movies 🎥 get violence fine.. but we choose to or not too watch.. This is happening across a lot of people not liking that sophisticated of Bryan. Was so bad... Mercedes v shida.. meh.. Liked Willow.. A little bit.. But fine.. Mjf v dan was weird.. I'm not a WWE hater.. I'm not a sicko... I'm a Day one Aew fan.. I only Like and follow Aew. It's hard lately
As a wrestling fan. I also watched UFC there for a bit when I think UFC was in it's prime and it was hard watching wrestling. I made the choice to just stop watching UFC once some fights turned into grapple fests. I think WWE is doing well, AEW hasn't grasped me like I thought it would. For a lot of the reasons you mentioned. As for WWE I can't agree more. Especially for MITB matches like 5-6 or more!, guys group up and catch the guy jumping off the top rope or ladder. Happens every single MITB.
i agree with the 'spotfest'. from the little matches i've actually watched from start to finish, they are more focused on the 'look what i can do' part more than telling a story.
WWE doesn’t nearly have the Logical Gaps and Plot holes that I see in AEW. Tony blows his dream match load way too quickly and when he has a great storyline, the follow up often disappoints and their momentum stalls out. AEW needs creative writing teams for each division to plan things out accordingly!!!
All out didn't hit for me!! I don't hate WWE.. i don't watch WWE. Im an aew fan.. Who hopes Tony Kahn gets further away from the face of aew.. Like The constructive criticism
Collision under Punk had a different feel and vibe than “Dynamite” I would be okay with ending “Rampage.” “Collision” is the 2nd show. I like your critique, Shannon, because you are fair. Bully Ray was on Twitter the day after All Out. Talking how if the bag, the Swerve/Page match offended you-Call Busted Open Radio. Bully Ray is an ECW Original. He put people through tables and did everything in ECW to get the crowd to riot. Bully Ray, and many others, are hacks and clickbait merchants. Bully Ray and D’von signed WWE Legends contracts last September. Conflict of Interest
