You are a beautiful girl. I love that you are showing awareness for your disability. Growing up I hid my hard of hearing disability from people for the longest time. It wasn’t until I was 28 I decided to wear hearing aids. My best friend has cerebral palsy and he thinks he is never going to find a girl and he is almost 40 because of his disability.

Your strength is beautiful. My cousin had the same form of CP and I’ve seen his struggles his whole life, toe surgeries after toes surgeries. Stay strong ❤

I was told at a very early age that the only disability a person has is the one that a person imposes on themselves. Watching and listening to you, you do not have a disability. You may have challenges, but you are definitely not disabled. You are a determined personality. You should, if you are not already, talk to others who have the same challenges and how to handle the challenges that you face and how you cope with them. You are a sweetheart, and I would love to shake your hand or give you a hug. Since I can't, I will give you two thumbs up for your courage. I hope God gives you all the blessings you have coming. My first and worst date also involved rudeness towards the waiter. When we met she seemed nice but as soon as we sat down she just starting being completely disrespectful and even insulted him for being a waiter. I ended up apologizing to him. I ended the night shortly after and like your situation she also tried to kiss me out of nowhere. Like not reading the room at all that I was pretty disgusted by the whole thing.

So great to see you posting so much of your life and the aspects of your dating. These are so useful, I suspect, in opening life up for so many young people who do not fit the realm of "normal" or "social kings and queens" and help them realize life is still a golden opportunity for them if they ignore those outside of their lives and just enjoy all they can. I remember a date I had after high school with a girl I had known since we were young children. Her grandfather lived next door so we played together when she visited and she and I both attended the same high school my senior year. At the end of our date we decided we felt more like brother and sister and remained friends the rest of our lives. She loved my parents, attending many functions we had for my parents, and she taught all of my youngest sister's children in grade school. I last saw her at my mother's birthday celebration when she reached 100 and earlier this year for her funeral.

I have to admire her tenacity and how she always approaches things with a smile. You are a blessing.🙏👍

I understand what you went through. I often find women are a little freaked out by my cane. I get the feeling sometimes that they're afraid they're going to somehow break me. I find it very annoying when the person I'm with makes decisions for me rather than ask me if I would like to do something or not.

One of the finest ladies in my life was my grandmother. She had developed Parkinson's later. It never changed the lady she always was. The only way she could eat peas was mixed in mashed potatoes. And that is the way I'll eat mine. Also had a great great uncle who was born with polio. Never stopped him. He drove himself everywhere. Farmed his own crops and took them to the market. People with disabilities and great attitudes are awesome people

Hi Chelsea, at first I just wanna say that I love your RU-vid channel and I just want to say thank you for raising awareness about our Disability. My name is J O SH and I have the same Disability as you do and I have experienced. A lot of the same experiences when it comes to dating and honestly it is terrifying. What we go through when we date because as soon as we bring up our Disability and our disadvantage is that it all night they see about us and it’s really not fair when we go through on a daily basis, and I just want to say that. it is not our fault. Do you know we are just like everyone else we just happen to have different ways of getting around and some people do not understand that but unfortunately, when they look at us all they see is our issues and our challenges and I just want to tell you that you’re not alone and if I had a chance, I want you to know that I would date you in a second, because you are a kind generous. caring person you are a kind and genuine person and that is the only thing that people should look at but unfortunately when we are challenged, they don’t care about any of that. They just care about our challenges and then she says broken and I want you to know that you are not alone and one day you will find a guy worthy of you and the guys who have dated you in the past I’m sorry but they did not deserve to know you you deserve so much better than you think that you do and let me tell you a little bit about my dating experience. It was only once but back in 2013 I met this girl at this camp she was my prom date because at the camp that I used to go to they had prawns and you know I chose her because she was so sweet and so genuine and we had a great time and you know at the end of the night she kiss me on the cheek twice and you know for someone who had never experienced that before I kind of ate that up and I loved it and we became best friends after that, and after the summer, we exchange numbers and there was not a day not a moment that we did not text each other and we would text each other all the time and you know again at the time I had never experienced something like that before, so I did not know how to do it because I had never experienced that before and you know I had never had a girlfriend and whenever I would text her, she would always be busy or not respond right away, and I was always freaking out when she wouldn’t respond to me because I was always afraid that I did something really pushed her away from me and of course that was the last thing that I wanted to do and you know I would always tell her you know if I ever did he do anything that made her feel uncomfortable she could always tell me and she never did so. I kept texting her because she did not tell me to stop and you know in the end I did the thing where I did not want to do, and I pushed her away from me, and as a cop out, especially in my book, she said that I was too sweet and too amazing to be your friend whatever the hell that meant, and that you broke my heart and you know, but now that I’m older, I realize that. it was a lot of my issues, and it was mostly my fault because I kind of latched on to her because her like I said, I had never experienced that before and I did not know how to handle it when I did experience some thing like that man did I love her losing her, broke me I was in tears for days and weeks and years but now that I’m older, I understand where I was at fault and she still won’t be my friend and when I matured and grew up a little bit, I tried to be her friend on Facebook, but of course that did not work out. She wants nothing to do with me so I understand everything that you went through and I know how it feels, but you cannot give up hope.

I can’t tell you how many girls I’ve attempted to go on dates with but who have no ability to desire to maintain a conversation. They will give one word answers and never ask anything in return.

i remember my first Love, it is something i will never forget, Years later i ended up with the Love of my life for 34 years, she was the most wonderful Beautiful kind and caring fun person in my life, she made me the happiest man in the world, , Live Love Laugh and and enjoy life, wishing you a very happy life,

Doing something together that you both can enjoy is best for a date. Movie and/or dinner is not it. When my "bride" and I. first dated, the first date was an afternoon picnic with fireworks after dark and then a folk music concert in the same park. Other dates were boating, beach picnics, horseback riding, horse carriage rides, animal parks visits, coffee house concerts, etc. Any dates we had, we agreed together what we'd being doing ahead of time. One date, we went to a car race. She was hesitant about that but she loved it later. We sometimes went to baseball games, hockey games, etc. We went to a live play another time that neither of us had never done before and we loved it. Sadly, our marriage only lasted 11 years when she was killed in an auto/truck head-on crash. We had 4 daughters, the youngest being 18 months old. Oldest was 9 years old. I raised the 4 of them alone with help from family and close friends. it wasn't easy but I miss those years today.

I remember going on my first date to the movies and everything was just fine until I was leaving the movie theater and there were three men not boys in front of us laughing and turning around staring at me and imitating the way I was walking. It was so awkward and embarrassing at first but then I realized that these people weren’t going goblet get to me and it just made me a stronger person.

The dating scene is quite wrecked these days with everything going on unless in twenties, first relationship. I have not dated in six years and have been single for twelve years. By choice. My first date was the movie theater, too. Worst dates are always when the other person seems more interested in getting laid, which usually means they want to hit it & quit. I'm definitely not doing that again unless the date is longer than a day or night. I am attempting to date again or at least get a good conversation going lately. Good luck, I wish I could date you, Chelsea, I would go anywhere with you.

My best date was with the man I eventually married who said to me, "You're a mesomorph with a perfect center of gravity. You could do any sport." I'd never had someone see who I might have been without the cp. My worst date was with a guy who I sensed was totally freaked out by the cp but wouldn't admit it. I catfished him a few months later and he talked about how freaked out he was, but I didn't call him out; I just was validated by knowing my instincts were correct.

I know first hand how dating with a disability is. It's hard. I am man divorced now but disabled most my life and after my divorced can't even find one girl to go on casual date with me. I also can't walk long distance anymore mostly when I go out I use My mobility scooter. How I wish I could take you on a date Chelsea think we would make a great couple 😊

1st date story? My 1st date was actually with my life long best friend, a super cute gal with gorgeous blue eyes, just pizza and a movie... to this day I can't remember the movie, but remember the exact booth at the pizza place (it's still open and still same layout 35 years later) and remember the smell of her perfume (Primo). Her and I are still BFFs and I just talked to her yesterday.

Wow that was crazy good your a great storyteller it wasn't my first date but switch the location to a huge campground in North Carolina with a lake the lake was at the bottom of a steep hill and damn I can relate to that experience hahaha I said on one of your Instagram post a while back it's surreal for me to watch you and also very very very cool you're doing a great job Channel❤ so proud of you👏👏👏👏😉

I am amazed by your video's. The whole intent of a first date with a lady is to make her feel at ease with you. Secondly, by asking you if you have any preferred place that you would like to enjoy a meal with me, Your choice, not mine (I am your host) In this instance these are my personal views as to what I would do once an invitation to dine out with a lady who has any disability is accepted, even if it is a luncheon meal, or breakfast. Once I know the venue, it is easy (if serious about your "date") enquire within whether I can park my motor vehicle as close as possible to the entrance door. (It can be arranged with the Owner/Manager). The impression is to make the lady feel comfortable and at ease and at the same time, see that you have thought everything out beforehand. Should you feel more comfortable to ride in your mode of transport once at the venue, sure no problem; in a flash it is assembled and waiting for you to be seated before we enter. Once inside, you select whether you wish to be seated on one of the venues seats or remain in your chair (if it is comfy;) Now we are seated at our table, next to or opposite each other, then we can face each other whichever is easier for you (you are the invited lady of my choice so the honour is yours). Enjoy whatever meal we order, and round the meal off in a manner of your choice.( straight home to thank you for the lovely evening together) Second date almost the same as one need always accept your condition especially if I have no disability. You would be my treasure. xx♥
