In a weird way, it gives me permission to be more myself than when I had ridiculously blown-out amber-hued tresses. I'm more me than I ever have been, and I used think that was a bad thing. In my 50s I'm just starting to see how wonderful life can be when i don't hate myself (as much!). TMI!!! Sorry! I will love Angel Muse one day. I can tell. And it will all have been worth the agony. :p You and are I scent sisters indeed - I often sigh with relief when I sniff a hyped fragrance (Hundred Silent Ways, Pas Ce Soir, etc.) and I just know that I don't need/want them. When I saw the title I had to clutch my non-existing pearls 😂. But yes, I do the exact same thing: if someone loves it and I can live without it, I just give it away (especially if it contains oud … something I thought I need to like as a fragrance person, but I just don’t … on me …).

😆😂🤣😅That was super entertaining Julija! I think the VCanto bottles look like vampires 🧛🏻♂️in capes or coffins. I can't get past how they look to even smell them. I like black and even gothic but something about those I can't do. 🙃 I haven't smelled most of these fragrances with the exception of Light Blue and Spiritus Double Vanille. It's good to have opposite ideas from our friends. There's a reason both of those fragrances you mention are classic - they're both gorgeous. I still wear the hair mist of the Light Blue in the summer. I can't quit it, but I don't need a bottle of the fragrance itself. Someday i will spring for the SDB. Some day. *le sigh

I was instantly repulsed by it and sent it back when I first bought it. I tried it again about 6 months later and fell in love. The last time I wore it, I hated it again lol. I have just accepted that it is one of those polorizing scents that are worth keeping, because when it is good, the right timing...however that works; it is sooooo good. Don't give up!

Hi, I have forgotten how radiant you can be. I also kind of done the same thing recently.😅I gave away Tender by Miller Harris, it was a blind buy , I really did tried to love it, but couldn't. 😶🌫Since I promise myself to never declutter my collection I prefer to think that I have" lend for forever "see I cannot say it 😂, a few fragrances (Isparta by Pierre Guillaume, Ella K' Baiser de Florence and Trudon's Olim). By the way Black Phantom does smell like baby powder. I think it's the almonds, heliotrope and sandalwood inside that make it so. That is also the reason why I like it😉.

I love that you cannot even utter the word "declutter!" How do you come up with these fragrances? I've never heard of any of them. We must have a very skewed idea of fragrances in North America. I have such desires to be complex and mysterious when it comes to fragrance but the multiple bottles of Bright Crystal I have gone through seem to indicate that this is not the case😢😂 So I went to debate camp (multiple times) in high school, and there was one lecture where the speaker was this incredibly stiff and awkward guy, and at one point in his speech he wanted to say “gone the way of the dodo” but actually said “the way of the dildo.” The POOR man kind of made a little choking noise and then froze for a good 20 seconds (which is an eternity really!) and all of us 15- and 16-year-olds were suitably entertained😂
I too desire to be complex and mysterious, and i too share your love of Bright Crystal (as a deodorant, though - the fragrance doesn't last on my skin as perfume). DILDO! Oh my god! Poor guy!
