Cool look through the con. I just can’t wrap my head around these vendors that pay for booths and then sell for above eBay prices. Don’t they wanna sell?? Plus they don’t have to ship the goods. So many cool things to look at but such unnecessary gouging.

Oh yeah, and I know those booths ain’t cheap. But then you gotta move volume so there’s gotta be a middle ground in there. And con sellers, especially this year just don’t seem to be trying to find that.

It’s fascinating to watch someone walk into another sub set of OUR nerd pop culture and have them be amazed because they know nothing about it. You can geek about Pokémon, I can geek about comics. We can come together about games, it’s a fun time to be a nerd.

If you ever go to Industry, California! I think you'd be overwhelmed if you saw Frank n Sons! They have so many video games...booths and booths of video games! I spent 2 hours in there!

I didn’t go this year :( Also the Star Wars film cells at 11:52 are cool! I have a set of them. They are from actual film reels that went to movie theaters. They aren't rare at all since like every theater in the world got multiple reels and of course each film is probably a couple hundred thousand or something.

Mad respect man. Dr. Strange and Black Panther are easily my one two, mostly for the reasons you say. My hot take is that marvel solo movies are way better than the big crossover events, which I haven't liked really any of them *ducks*

I just found your content and this is some cool stuff! Also, great to see more people in Lexington who are into nerd stuff! Personally, I'm in Nicholasville (a technically separate city that might as well be a suburb of Lexington), and due to a move and some other stuff that was going on during the time of the con, I wasn't able to drop by it. Cool to see someone actually cover it!

You should always call out sellers who Jack up thier prices to try to rip people off. At SEGE there was a seller that had a B2G1 free sale, but all thier games were marked up 50%

I was surprised not that he was trying to make a profit on games, but that his prices were so high above market value. I thought that would be obvious given I wasn't surprised at any other booth prices.
