Huh? Really? That's kind of a bummer for me, cause water myth units were one of the things that can give you an immediate advantage, really fun to play with that

@@mushfiqurrahman1107 The advantage is still there. I guess it's mostly for balance reasons because myth units on water are pretty good, and otherwise you wouldn't really have a "choice" on water maps

@@nichtda4522 Yeah, feels like they decided it made balancing a bit hard as either someone had an extra Myth unit which allowed them to win water whilst still doing well on land or they were losing water hard, so had to take a choice on land that wasn't what they would have preferred. So now they can just focus water combat on 'fight well, and here's some myth units balanced in certain ways' whilst not needing to balance 'but this deity gives you an extra myth unit' for land combat.

Can't wait for balance patches and improvements. I hope more players hit the ladder!

The game isn't fully out until tomorrow, it's only available if you purchased premium access (7 days early, so since last week) or if you were a beta tester. The differences between retold and older AOM versions are also noticeable, so there's not really any truly established top AOM retold players. That'll get clear in about a month or so, when enough ranked games have been played to get a decent ladder.​@@vignesh4050

And fishing boats are so slow at getting food so there's no point in spending resources to defend them. The only thing that's good is archer ships against enemy land units. They are really strong vs land units. Keep them by the coast to harass the enemy troops and villagers.

AoE3 released after AoM, on the same engine. AoE3 didn’t look this nice.

This is a remake of the game, not a completely new game.

The problem isnt Microsoft, it's that you don't understand what a remaster is. Come on, "you can do better".
