Had another amazing time at the 2024 Acura Long Beach Grand Prix, enjoying the sights and mostly the sounds that the weekend had to offer. The amount of new cars on display was GREAT!
Especially the new Honda Prelude concept. All of the CF on that car was really cool to see and it flowed really well. Hopefully that car makes it to production and is as fun to drive as it looks!

@@josephj7908 I can afford that, but they have to justify the price with the hp. If they put 300hp in this, I’d buy considering it might be a lightweight sportscar so 300hp is enough

The Prelude will probably be based on Integra Type-S suspension with a performance oriented hybrid system.

Nice but if is a 60k + car hell no the way the economy is now not the right time to buy a brand new car especially if you are on a budget to buy a new car

hope it won't have a turbo engine bc those are very unreliable.

All of Honda's turbo engines don't have any issues. They had one issue with the new 1.5. they fixed it really quick and they haven't had any issues whatsoever

@@HiFiInsider A good rule of thumb is to never buy a first generation car so look at what year the 1.5 came out and by 2 years after that because they had time to fix all the problems

If the rumors are true and this only has 207hp. I'm going to be mad. Also if it does come with brembos, I cannot see a 200hp car having it just for kicks. I'm hoping a combine of 300hp. Obviously prelude always been a touring sport car. Which never will be able to compete with a type R/S

The 4th gen Prelude Type R was only sold in Japan and had 190-200hp and out ran the Integra Type R on a track. The 4th gen can weigh as much as a Integra at around 2700 pounds. The Prelude was always better than the Integra.

@@sleepwalker29 I've only heard of the SiR. Didn't know there was a Type R. I've always enjoyed the prelude more than the any civic or Integra. I own a 3rd gen and had a 5th gen. My cousin had a 4th gen si. Sadly 5th gen was the worst in my opinion.

Would he interesting if they are daft enough to repeat the CRZ mistake, but then we are talking about the company that would prefer to let the NSX and Legend die before developing the V8 customers and the dealerships begged them for. I love my S2000 but Honda has a hubris issue that hurts them worse than it hurts anyone else.

@@6mtzhp55 sadly Honda was never going to make a V8 for us peasants. Imo the 5th gen prelude was a flop. Worst out of all gens besides the looks and atts. They better not flop this one. Cuz I want it 😂

God i hope it looks just like this when it comes out. Looks like a Porsche. Give me a hybrid electric engine with that gets 35MPG or more, in this body style…wooof. Ideally in AWD too.
