Love that you're using the premier feature. I think you'd get more reaction if you gave a 24 hour notice (clicking the option that puts down that your subscribers get a notification about the premier 24 hours ahead of the scheduled video). So excited that you're filming and sharing your journey.

Hello! First, you're really pretty and yellow is your color. 2. I like your soft spoken voice. 3. I'm Nigerian too! I'll be going to Korea in the fall for one month so am trying to absorb all the information I can XD - so thank you for making this video. I'll be going with my Korean friend though so hopefully it won't be too scary. I just started vlogging as well and hope to speak more about the cultural differences and similarities between mine and korean cultures with my korean friend. :)

Hello! I will be applying to EPIK through a recruiter on April 1st for this fall semester! I'm hoping to be placed in Daejeon. I am so happy that I found your videos - listening to you is very encouraging without being overwhelming (like some other teacher's videos I've found). I did have a question that no one else I've asked seems to have an answer for. I was wondering if you happened to know whether people with tattoos were required to keep them covered during orientation? It was cold during your orientation, so I know people were probably wearing a lot of layers which would have probably covered up any visible ink for the most part but did you happen to see anyone without their tattoos being actively covered by makeup or anything? If I'm accepted, my orientation will be in August and it will be so hot! I'm just trying to get an idea of what I will need to prepare myself for since I have two visible tattoos - one behind my ear and one on my forearm. I would really hate to have to wear long sleeves/apply makeup AND wear my hair down the entire time in that heat. Again, I really like your videos, and I hope you continue to make more!

Autamn Webb i am not sure if it is required during orientation, but i would think it would cause less problems to have them covered. the tattoo behind you ear is fine, dont worry about that one :) the one on your forearm, it just depends. if someone (epik staff) tells you something then i would cover it up thank you so much! 💛

also, if you are accepted as an epik teacher and you mentioned your tattoo on your forearm, i don’t think they would be super strict (since you’re technically hired) lol

Anne I see your link to SENTBE but how do I send my daughter money “FROM” USA to So Korea?

unfortunately, sentbe only works for korea => other countries. but, depending on the korean bank and the usa bank, it may be possible to do an international wire transfer online or by visiting the bank in the usa. Look for the transfer tab and click international transfer Theyll likely need: -Recipient's full name and address. -Recipient's account number. - Recipient bank's BIC/SWIFT code. If you dont know your swift code just Google: Your bank name + swift code there is also the option of mailing a money order to your daughter in korea but that will take a very long time..

would you recommend korvia for recruitment?

the decision to use a recruiter is ultimately up to you! korvia was great to me, and i was placed in my preference. just be aware that your application will be seen by epik much later if you use a recruiter vs. applying directly (that includes the interview, etc.). you also can’t directly contact epik (all communication would have to go through the recruiter)

nope, not at all! my certification is middle school and high school but i am in an elementary school. there are others in my same city who have no certification/teaching experience who are in a middle school. it’s 100% random and not up to epik- the offices of education decide. it was so long ago that i can’t remember exact dates at the moment 😅 but in my youtube videos from the beginning i have all of the dates that i submitted my app, korvia reviewed and submitted, my interview, etc.
