When you hatch a shiny out of an egg the shine is different too.

@@nattonep8788 yes and no, there are 2 types of shinies in this game The star shinies (the regular one) and square shinies, or ultra shinies. Which is a 1/16 chance to get from a shiny. Which shiny is already 1/4000 something. However, when you chain like adrive did here, it's a 15/16 chance.

I got my first shiny yesterday (11/18/2019),a Nickit.I was trying to evolve Galarian Yamask to do the +49 damage in Dusty Bowl,then i stepped on the grass and the first pokemon i ran into was a Nickit and it was Shiny,what a luck lol !!!

Hey aDrive, question for you. How do you make your shinies competitive? I’m assuming they don’t have perfect IVs, so perfect stats would be difficult to achieve. Do you just adjust them to whatever nature you’re looking for and train accordingly to as high as the stat can go?

Good job! I just got shiny rolycoly from 2.1k encounters, and I’m now going for a shiny dracovish (fossil Pokémon) from SRs. I haven’t beat the game yet, so I’m doing these hunts while playing and I’m gonna try to do 1 shiny per gym, good luck getting more!!!

Yesterday I was running around the wild area evolving Pokémon trying to complete the dex, and I bumped into a Doubwool and thought “huh, Doubwool looks a little different than I remember” and then I saw the sparkles.

if the chart is right, then you have a 1/3 chance of getting the rerolls, that means theres a 66% chance to still get the 1/4096 odds

@@truant6910 can you elaborate on this? The chart on Serebii seems easy to read, but i've also read that the shiny rates in this game aren't a "guaranteed rate" like they are in past gens and it's left me confused as to exactly what that means.

Cool Shiny. My first Shiny in Swsh was a shiny Silicobra from a Dynamax raid. It holds special value to me, as it is the first time I was first on uploading a certain shiny on RU-vid. It was also the 5th video on RU-vid to have a Shiny Dynamax raid shiny.
