The aesthetic of it really grew on me once I started following the project on DCS, and it is probably one of my favorite modules to fly. And all those early Soviet jets look damn good in red, too.
I love the aqua blue/green interior paint, and the literal opposite to that: the red colour that are the cockpit lights give it a menacing atmosphere inside. In terms of the layout design, the sheer amount of gauges that are strewn about the cockpit is mind blowing. The seemingly haphazard nature of how they've been distributed adds to the chaotic feel of this plane. It's as if it's cockpit has been tacked on-to over the years by an individual to improve its capabilities. It has gauges and dials right up around the HUD for God's sake. It's maniacal, but gives it such character. Very cool aircraft.
This is so beautiful. I'd never want to leave the cockpit. I'd have to have a custom reclinable seat built so I could lay back and sleep in my giant flying metal coffin.
Dobré a zdravím Tebe a podobné nadšence! Jsi velice šikovný a pokud budeš mít nějaké dotazy, velice rád odpovím. Zdravím s palcem nahoru! Viky Čáslav
I like the green inside the cockpit...I heard they use that shade of green because it's different enough to go from the sky or water and look at your instruments and it's easier on the eyes...the WHOLE cockpit screams soviet I love it
LOL! Awesome! (Shouldn't you have speakers inside the cockpit though? DCS already models the sound as if you're hearing it from inside the cockpit. And you have a choice of whether there's helmet effect as well.)
I'm pretty sure the speakers are. The sound changes pretty dramatically once you close & seal the cockpit of the 21, speaking from experience with headphones. I'm pretty sure the helmet effect is not being used in this video.
You are right. Do you know how we fixed it? We have speakers outside of course (2 kW). Before the flight we remove the canopy. Then you see it in DCS like without the canopy, but we have our own canopy. Luckily it does not effects flight model.
Really a good quality SIM ever seen. But question is you are starting up Engine with 10 Kg Pneumatic pressure !!!! strange !! No surprise your aircraft got damaged due to ineffective braking at runway end during turning.
