Chris is one of those "once in a lifetime talents" I was lucky enough to see him in concert twice. It was a complete privilege, I was one of probably 3 Black people there, didn't matter to me...greatness is greatness.
He makes his guitar sing almost as good as his voice! You were right about his guitar playing. I love love, love Chris Stapleton! I love so many of his songs, but I think this is my favorite, and definitely my favorite live performance of his. Those guitar skills tho!!!!! I think he would also love to see some performances with his wife, Morgan. I love a very sweet, acoustic life performance he does of the song “I hope you dance”. Just him, his guitar, and Morgan harmonizing is absolutely gorgeous. If you haven’t already, I also suggest watching the video fire away, and then, of course, if you haven’t seen it, Chris’s live performance of the national anthem at the Super Bowl, it’s the best I’ve ever seen/heard. Also, I love that you have so much love for two of my faves Queen/Freddie and Chris Stapleton. In my opinion, nothing is better than them (especially when it comes to life performances).

Okay Okay, I don't like it but I concede. I've lost the remarkable Beauty Miaaa to Chris Stapleton but through prayer my heart will recover in time. Great reaction Miss Miaaa! Country and Blues have their roots in American Gospel music and Mr. Chris Stapleton is truly a God given gift to us all. Every man that dreams of a Gorgeous Lady like you Miaaa wishes we could get the same reaction. As a mere mortal I have only my white beard to entice a Lady to look my way where Chris has woman all over feeling as you do just by them hearing his voice or guitar playing. In the 80s with "hair" bands a guitar solo seemed to be played in every song. Chris takes that to a whole new level by making his riff another verse to the songs he writes and plays. Name one other artist that can cover 8,9,10 genres of music... Or one that can write a song that in 3 minutes makes you feel like you lived a lifetime in it. It will take a long time to replace Chris Stapleton. No one can deliver a song like Chris.
Great reaction! This song is one that never gets old to me. Maybe it reminds me of the old days when MEN sang R&B like Marvin, Peabo, Luther, Barry, Al Green, n on n on. The trend now is w younger guy groups who have the talent but maybe not the pain and raspiness of an older gentleman...just an idea lol
