RRRRRROGER TAYLOR wrote this song after reading the book called “The Invisible Man”. I love the music video & Freddie’s cool sunglasses! Btw, it’s the only Queen song where the band members’ names are mentioned in the lyrics! 😎

The Invisible Man was written by Roger Taylor, but by this time the band had started to credit songs as written by Queen( as a whole) instead of individual band members. This song is off the Miracle album , and both song and album were released in 1989 . I always look back fondly on the songs on this album, because they were released after a few years or so of inactivity by the band . Freddie looked great with a beard , but sadly he grew it mainly as camouflage for the marks on his face caused by x ray treatment of Kaposi's sarcoma ( a form of cancer) brought on from the HIV(Aids) he sadly suffered from . You have to react to Queens Innuendo. Written when Freddie was unwell so no band video but a wonderful video was made for the song. Rogers angry drumming tells a story on its own. What was happening to Freddie ignited something in the band and some of their finest work was sadly done in this period. It’s a beautiful changing powerful song, just like it’s singer

There is an extended version. Not a remix. Verse 1 is actually verse 2. The Original verse 1 was cut from all released versions including album. I got the album for Xmas 1989. The uncut version was part of a RU-vid posting called THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT in tribute to Freddie, it contained studio run throughs, unreleased remixes of tracks such as Now I'm here and I want it all, the latter minus drum and percussion parts. Sadly it's been removed from RU-vid.

Don't know what part of the USA you're in, however there's an exhibition of personal items belonging to Fred and they're in New York and Los Angeles this month before heading back to the UK for an auction in September, from hand written lyrics to items you would have seen in the videos, all from Garden Lodge and Mary Austin

I sort of know what you mean , there's slight similarities with the synth and beat etc , but I don't think they ripped off Ghostbusters theme tune , especially with the story behind the writing of the song etc . Who knows LOL 👻
