Chrystian Cutright slide is the "style" and steel is the "instrument". You can slide play most guitars to some level. Steel guitars come in lap, pedal and traditional styles.

Country music is about real life and things that are relative to real life experiences. Not always but most of the time. It comes from the heart Vince Gill wrote and sang a song called Go Rest High on the Mountain and that was about his brother that passed away. Listen to it 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

This one hits hard. When my wife was seven months pregnant her blood pressure skyrocketed and they misdiagnosed her with preeclampsia. They did an emergency C-section but her blood pressure kept rising and she dropped into a coma. For 3 days I paced the floor at the hospital. They kept telling me to go home and rest but there was no way I could sleep. We took turns icing her and washing her face with cold rags. It seemed like an eternity before she opened her eyes. She finally came out of the coma and we got to keep her for 16 more years. I don't know if you'll get this comment so long after posting this video. If you do, watch the very end of the video again. You'll see in the background Johnnie grown up taking his son fishing and his wife and their second child come into view just as the song ends. So his prayers were answered.

My wife and I had our first child, a little girl and a day after we came home, my wife said she didnt feel well. We rushed her to the hospital and they admitted her. Her blood pressure was extremely high. It was preaclampsia. After two days, she came out if it...barely. I knew my wife since I was 8 years old, I reconnected with her 11 years later and it was a beautiful relationship, we faced adversity and then we had a kid and she didn’t think she could, but prayer was great. Then her and my baby died in a car accident and that call from police changed my life, I was with friends and then I isolated myself and did many drugs and gambled and after losing all my money, I became homeless. But I’m thankful to God for not giving up on me, so I work for Him full time now and I’m still homeless, no money, but He provides. So this song definitely is close to me, but not spot on. I don’t know if I could ever love a woman as much as I did her, but I know love God more than any woman and that’s what keeps me going. God bless

Tim's father was a major league baseball pitcher - Tug. I enjoy the story of Tim's music. The original music from this genre shared this format. Songs about life.

This song reminds me of 3 Tear Drops by Steve Wariner. Different but some themes of sadness and dealing with life. This one is a great song and a great reaction.

Jerry Gibbs No worries, it’s a great song and means so much to me since I often have to leave my wife and kids for business trips.

Loving to see some explore the huge world of country music, it gets written off by so many, yet so many gems and stories you can relate too.

Country music takes you by the heart sometimes. But it always is emotional and that's the appeal. It connects with us all if you let it.

I sang this exact song at my uncle's 2nd wedding it was his wedding song because the story is masterfully wrote from beginning to end starting as a 8 year old boy that has a crush on the girl that just so happens to walk through the gate at your house holding a fishing pole to seeing them running with a little boy at the end of the video to the same fishing spot they were at when they were 8 at 23 and him as a toddler
