Oh you must go back to the 60s when Van played with a group called Them. They did Gloria and Mystic eyes I believe. Ive been a van fan since the 60s. I will have Into the mystic played at my passing. It brings me peace. He has a huge catalog of great music. Ty for experiencing Van Morrison.

Van diehard here! He’s go SO MANY songs and still recording. My 47 year old daughter also loves him but she got exposure since she was born. I know you’ll get other suggestions so I’m going way back to my youth with the following: GLORIA HERE COMES THE NIGHT BABY PLEASE DON’T GO (the above were with THEM) BLUE MONEY WILD NIGHT DOMINO Numerous others but a recent one is: WHERE HAVE ALL THE REBELS GONE. If you’ve watched the American Pie movies you’ve heard the song. It was played at the wedding in “American Wedding” when they danced towards the end. I heard the song many years before that, but I always found it weird it it oddly fit well at that part in the movie for some reason.

Check out the duet version of Streets of Arklow with Mike Hucknall, and while you're at it, check out "The Healing Game," title track from the LP of the same name...the song is amazing, but the whole record is a stunner. You'll have fun diving into the deep waters that is Van Morrison's catalog. He's still at it, too. If you get a chance, catch him live. It's worth the money. He's playing in Oakland tonight (February 29...yeah, Leap Day 2024).
