MY FIRST TIME REACTING TO TXT (투모로우바이투게더) 'Good Boy Gone Bad' Official MV 

My voice is still a bit off but I really needed to react to some music today as it's just one of those days, don't worry I'm okay, I'm not gonna push myself but I reacting makes me happy :)

Give it to the dogs is an expression that means to throw something away as if it's useless. I think it also calls back to the lyrics about them being done with wagging their tails. This is also a reference to one of their songs from their first album called "Cat & Dog" where they ask to become your pet so they can be around you 24/7. It's just further emphasis that that innocent part of them and innocent and naive love is no longer there.

More TXT please. They have a fantastical storyline and they are vocally talented. My favorite TXT song is called 20cm. They have a live performance of this song and it is so good! Great reaction. 👍

TXT are my ults for a reason, their journey from their debut from this is absolutely beautiful, their journey shows their growing up and different stages so beautifully, I hope you'll check them out more.

this album is based on 5 stages of grief. all of the songs are arranged based of the stages and GOOD BOY GONE BAD is the number 2 track in the album, which represents anger stage. if u read the lyrics from the first track until the last track, u can see they are literally representing all the 5 stages of grief. TXT has always had a heavy storyline, with subjects like the hardships of groing up, being different, being left out, friendship and betrayal. To fully understand all the references in their MV's, you need to watch their video's from their debut onwards. Which will take you awhile, as some of their MV's are as long as 20 minutes. Since their last comeback, they have been moving towards a pop-rock style, which suits them really well. MV's from that last comeback you should check out are: "0x1=LOVESONG" and "LO$ER=LOVER" (in that order as it's an ongoing story) and "Frost". Fun fact: the guy in the phone booth, Hueningkai, is the brother of Huening Bahiyyih from Kep1er

With songs I normally know whether I like them or not afters the first 30 seconds but with this song by TXT I knew as soong as the beat started I'd love it and i do. The beat is amazinly good and the singing/rapping is some of the best where as the MV seems dark but it really fits well with the lyrics and talking about the lyrics they are just so powerful and some to which I can relate too..

I can't believe this is your first time reaction to TXT. Only a few seconds into the MV and you've picked up so many details, symbolism, and meanings I didn't realize. And I've been a fan of TXT for 3 yrs now. Wow! You're amazing 😳

Theories abound already with this comeback. It's a 5 track album and most MOAs are saying it's based on the stages of grief, with each track representing each stage. GBGB is anger, which...yeah that fits. In terms of metaphors or call backs to previous tracks there's plenty (as far as I can see). The lines about their tail wagging in the past and give your love to the dogs seem like call backs to a song they released on their first album called Cat & Dog. It was basically about wanting to be with you all the time, let me be around you all day, like your pet. It's a very cute song, that is aggressively sweet and includes barking and meowing, and I've seen so many reactors go from WTF is this in the beginning to adding it to playlists by the end of the song. 😂 There were also throw backs in their teaser images (I'm sure they're in the MV too but I didn't creep around yet), which had props used in their previous albums imagery when they did a lovely fluffy boyfriend concept. But in this album the props are all destroyed and thrown away. In the same photoshoot Yeonjun is photographed with an adorable scooter all ready for his date, and in this MV he's the dude deliberately driving the motorcycle dangerously and crashing, which was quite the contrast too. If you look at their debut in 2019, Crown and compare it to just this it's actually jarring how different they are musically and visually, but when you look at their discography they've got such a clear growth and pattern to how they've explored their music and storyline (they have a storyline), that the change over time makes total sense, which I think is awesome. It could very easily feel discordant but it works so well.

i LOVED all your theories which were all ON POINT!!! thank you so much for this i enjoyed listening to you ! i am 100% sure you would ADORE all TXT's songs and music video since they are all so full of meaningful lyrics and visuals, which they make you talk a LOT. the lyrics "the tail wagged at you, that's my past" i believe it's a reference to their oldest song "Cat & Dog" when they were still very young and still rookies, the song is about a young love and being loyal to your loved ones like a cat or a dog. And all of this made all sense with your analysis because like you said this naive "boy" got "killed" by a heartbreak ! would recommend watching all their MVs in chronological order since it showcase their growth perfectly and represent a person life from a teenager to the transition of becoming an adult and in the meantime facing all the hard times life throws at you!

TXT is an amazing group, they have a such unique style, but they are so underrated.. They deserve more!

In the rap section i guess the "throwing that love to the dogs" can reference both the common say "throw to the wolves" as in leave that love to ruins and their past song Cat & Dog which in the lyrics they say how they're okay with being treated as a pet by their love interest ( the line "My tail wriggled at you that's past" can also be considered a reference to that past song) as in their ex-lover must find someone else to treat like a dog because they're tired of it. Lyrics-wise i think it's interesting to hear the whole album to get the full experience with that concept, there's five tracks in which each one of them describe a different stage of the grief process post breakup track 1. opening sequence: denial track 2. good boy gone bad: anger track 3. trust fund baby: bargaining track 4. lonely boy: depression track 5. thursday child has far to go: acceptance And just like the song i said they referenced earlier, their past two Title tracks '0X1 = lovesong" and "Lo$er=Lover" are also a lead up to the reason why love made they "go bad" it will be interesting if you also react to these!

I've watched this MV tons of times before and also watched other youtubers react to this but watching this now as you breakdown each details still gives me goosebumps. Glad you enjoyed the MV and TXT as a whole. You also picked up a lot of things already. Anyhow, the teddy bear the rose, the balloons and other stuff/props were used to their previous album where they depicted the feeling of being in love and now for this album, they portray hardships of being heartbroken (to put it lightly 'cause I know there are lots of deeper things underlying) so we see them trashing and discarding these things that once were a happy memories.

omg TXT yesssss they have so many good songs/videos. They are my ult group. Some say that the dog references are kind of a throw back to their song Cat and Dog which was about wanting to be with someone so much but they use a lot of cat and dog references to get the idea across

They don’t have a specific concept for their group. They and have done almost all concepts. They have a storyline I think you’ll lovee from seeing your reaction. Their music really follows the stages in their real life like where they are at. And now it’s after all the kind of love songs that explained a deep love. But now it’s first tragic breakup from that, that causes this. The whole thing is just spectacular, these guys are just too great

TXT really appeals to me because they're a bit of a breath of fresh air among 4th Gen groups. As you can see they can do this powerful stuff but they don't rely on it. Every comeback is something different but there's this common thread of theatricality (I call them a "pop-theatre group) and melancholy. Their music and music videos are heavily narrative-driven--their choreos too which are often very descriptive of the story of song--and their universe feels similar to a Tim Burton or Roald Dahl-esque universe (sinister and whimsical to varying degrees). I think rock is a genre that pops up in a lot of different ways consistently (Run Away has a punk rock sort of feel, 0x1=Lovesong and Lover Lo$er have an alternative rock feel, this one and Frost have a more metal type sound) but as I mentioned, they really aren't afraid to do something new. Anyway, I hope you'll check them out more. I'm ARMY but I buy all of TXTs albums despite not knowing much about the boys as people because their discography is pretty flawless.

TXT have a really interesting lore behind them, it's about growing up, growing apart from friends, all mixed with fantasy elements. It's really cool and you come to realise that nothing in any of the sets is there without a reason. The teasers and teaser images also contribute to the lore and even the choreography a lot of the times is relevant. If you want to get more into it, I'd recommend you watch Laina Sunflower's videos on youtube. She has a whole playlist explaining their storyline and how all the MVs and teasers fit together, from debut up until now. Because their storyline is so complicated and not necessarily told in chronological order I would recommend watching one of Laina Sunflower’s summary videos to get the gist of it. She’s one of the most consistent theorizers when it comes to Hybe groups. Whatever you choose to do I hope you enjoy yourself and feel better.

if u like deep lyrics u are going to love tomorrow x together, all of their songs and music videos have a lot of meaning and a beautiful storyline about growing up. this song have a lot of references to their older songs, for example the rap is a reference to loser lover's rap (their last title track). u should check their discography i think u are going to love it i think the best way to get to know them and understand their storyline is following the albums order and their title tracks (crown, run away, can't you see me, blue hour, 0x1lovesong, loser lover, and good boy gone bad)

TXT Good boy Gone Bad: ‘Good Boy Gone Bad’ evokes an emotional story of a boy going through a break up with his first love. It’s everything edgy and matching to their concept of going bad. Hii can you react to GBGB Japan MV? The MV is the story after Loser Lover, and the reason why they become bad boys, and why they don't believe in love anymore. Thank you ♥ Also i have a theory, i divided their MV in two. One is the magical elements (Crown, NoS, Run Away, CYSM, Blue Hour, Frost, and the upcoming Sugar Rush Ride (you already react to more thn half heheh)) And the reality/real world MV (Cat & Dog, Loser Lover, 0X1, GBGB) which tell their life problems. I agree with your theory that TXT storyline revolves around their friendship, that's it until they had their first love. Since they have problem in real life, and they meet eo, they become friends and go to magic island to forget abt their pain/problems. Now, in CYSM and Blue Hour MV, few members already notice that their Magic Island is just made up place they used to run away from their problem. Some of them want to stay and some of them want to return to fix their life. So, there's a conflict in CYSM. But, like wht u said, they don't realise that by running away and forgetting their real life they make a bigger mistake, like the classroom burn bcs of their fire in Run Away MV. Then in real life, they met girl, the boys felt that the girl is an angel, they give all of themselves to the girl. But, the girl betrayed them, and the boys don't believe in love anymore. (Somehow, that make them remember their friendship (?) Bros bfr hoes)). You also said that in Frost, it seems like it's all happy, but behind it hides grim future for everyone and the only way for them, is to stop running away and try to fix their problem. Now, this is related to their new album Tempation. Before, i have to explain in the Tempation album there's: 1. Devil by the Window 2. Sugar Rush Ride (title track) 3. Happy Fools 4. Tinnitus (i want to become a rock) 5. Farewell, Neverland This five track, in sequence 1-5. It was explained in their weverse magazine. That the album is about the devil's temptation to the boys to fly to magic island, to stay and never leave, never grows old, there won't be any problem, just like peterpan seduce wendy to try to fly to neverland. My theory is, The devils whispering into their ears by the window at midnight (DEVIL BY THE WINDOW), and they give in to the tempation (SUGAR RUSH RIDE) they live in magic island/neverland like a HAPPY FOOLS. In the lyrics of their song, Happy Fools, they have tons of things to do, but they don't have plans to start doing it. They just live without a care. But, while they are in the magic island, they have TINNITUS. It's like ringing inside their head trying to make them remember, that all of this is just illusion, it's not real. Now, back to CYSM and Blue Hour MV. Some of them want to stay and some of them want to leave. In Blue Hour, they feel that time is running out, they want to savour the moment until the last sun dissappear and they return to the reality. A lot happened, finally the boys agreed to leave the magic island (Neverland) the place that once was their heaven, which is why in The Tempation album, their last track was tittled 'FAREWELL, NEVERLAND' bcs they are saying goodbye. They got rid of the devils tempation to stay as a boys that never have to be worried and choose to return, even if their path will get harder and harder in the future (THURSDAY'S CHILD HAS FAR TO GO). Not to forget, they also got into trouble in Magic Island. So, the boys have to fix their mistake in Magic Island (they forgot their promise to the stars, they burn the forest, Yeonjun opened his eyes on the way to the magic island which is a taboo, also Yeonjun promise to the cat (devil) the reason why Yeonjun always d*** in their story)) before they can go out/ be free from the devil) then after they go out, they will have to fix their real life problems (being wanted bcs stolen money is one of them). That's my theory heheh so sorry it got really long....If you watch their concept trailer, you will get a new insight of their storyline.
