Very powerful song, I lost my wife 6 years ago , giving my daughters away at their weddings, them graduation college at different time it is EXACTLY the feeling I felt and what I saw and still see in their eyes. 28 years my best friend 25 years my wife, she should be here for she was the best part of me. I'm so sorry. I lost my husband of 23 years, widowed at 41 with 5 children Valentine's Day 2014. My mom then died the same year at 61, diagnosed with terminal cancer just 4 weeks after my husband's sudden death. I never realized how much the world could shatter.❤

The Cole Swindell song is very emotional for me. My Mom ( R.I.P. ) Always wanted a daughter but only was able to have four boys. She always prayed to have a grand daughter. My oldest brother had two boys , then I ( second born ) had two boys , and unfortunately , she passed away before she could enjoy my oldest son's daughter . If I could have just one wish , it would be that she didn't have to miss this......💔

The video on his phone is of him telling his Dad that he had signed with Warner Music Nashville for his record deal and his Dad died suddenly that same year and so co-wrote this song. "Ain't Worth the Whiskey" is an earlier more uptempo song of his that is good too.

His father died 2 months after he signed with warner. He was working on a vehicle on a lift and it felt off, crushing him to death. The cemetery was the first time being there since his funeral and as u see the brothers join him, is real emotion. Country music is the best because songs are real

This song helps me remember my own dad. He passed away when I was a teenager back in 1991. Every great moment in my life I play this song in my mind to him. Even in the toughest times I do the same thing I just still miss him so much. I’m older now and I know that it’s supposed to get easier with time, but I still would trade my whole life just to be able to talk with him face to face one more time. Thank you Adelle for this reaction. It shows your humanity and the fact that you have a huge heart. Love all of your videos so far keep it up.

Thank you for your honest reaction, i appreciate it. This song reminds me of my baby sister. She passed at the age of 30, after an 8 year battle with cancer. "I drive your truck" reminds me of my Mom, because for years after she passed away, i drove her big ol dodge truck..

This Song has always been one of my Favorites by Cole Swindell when he released it years ago, But it didn't get Personal for me till May 29th 2019 when I lost My Dad and I didn't find out till days later When my Stepmom told me it was his Favorite too This song will always have me in tears its almost been a year since I lost my Dad and its nerve wrecking knowing I can't pickup the phone and call him just to talk or get fatherly advice, To Anyone who reads don't take your parents for Granted cause you never know when you'll hear their Voice again, And you won't feel whole again God Bless everyone one of you.

I lost my dad Oct 7, 2007 so I really really do understand what you are saying and what you said is the truth. Never take for granted that anyone will be here a long time because you never know when they will be gone.

Yes, this song was very personal to Cole. The footage in the beginning was Cole talking to his dad, telling him that Cole landed a record deal...6 weeks later, Cole's dad was killed in a freak accident when the car he was under, working on, fell on him and crushed him. In this video, it was the raw reaction to the first time he visited his dad's resting place since the funeral and his brother's came to console him at the end of the video. Very moving and very raw reaction in the video. gets me everytime.

I lost my Dad over 20 years ago. It still hurts as much today if not more than it did when my family lost him. I never went back since then. I do not think I ever will. There is so many thing I still needed to learn from him. Lost this is too much to go back. That is just me.

Fairly new to your channel. Just saw this. First time I heard this song in its entirety was 0932 23 Feburary 2016. I had been up for four days straight, afternoon before I had put my dad in Hospice. His 16.5 year battle to colon cancer was coming to an end. He passed at about 0230 on the 23rd. By time family got in and said their goodbyes, it was about 0915 that I walked to my car utterly exhausted. Started it up and this song came on radio. It was another 30 minutes before I could drive. Dad was the hardest working man I knew. Steelworker, well digger, a garbageman, a janitor , a farmer, a firefighter. He taught Sunday School for forty years. This song describes him to a T......

First time on your channel. Your reaction was beautiful and genuine, everyone has that one person that this song hits for. For me, her name was Missy. She was my best friend in school, who lost her fight with leukemia our senior year of High School. I have 20 years worth of "She should be here's" built up, now, and the only thing that keeps me going down here is knowing I'll see her again some day. The emotion in this song and the footage is all real...this touches so many of us in any case that someone has passed on or even someone that has walked out of our lives no matter what situation it may be...it hits me hard and I tear up which is a funny scene seeing as I’m 6’6 and bout 240 and covered in tattoos but thinking of my younger brother who was killed at the age of 14...so thank you for doing this reaction the respect and genuine emotion you have for music is absolutely amazing 🙏🏼🌺
