🔥 reaction. Grew up listening to UB40. Haven’t listened to this jam in a while it brought me back. I think you will really enjoy Ez Mil. Please give this Filipino independent artist a shot on your channel. One reaction turns into more because he is so talented. He raps in multiple languages, sing sings, dances, makes his own beats, plays piano, guitar, and drums, and directs and edits his own videos. He’s crosses many genres, a true independent artist, and he’s only 22. Please react to Ez Mil’s, Panalo Live on the Wish Bus, that now has 57 Million views. Thank you. God Bless.

Yes, it's a cover. UB40 did 3 cover albums of all their favourite songs, all the albums were called Labour of love, 1, 2 and 3 and they were as good as the originals. I'm also a huge fan of Bob Marley, but let's not forget his British roots also. His Dad was a white Royal Navy officer and he also got famous whilst in the UK

It's weird to me that you are an American Jamaican. I'm from Birmingham (UB40's home town) which has a fairly large population of good folks from the West Indies, and of course Jamaica. So I'm more used to a straight up Jamaican accent or else a Jamaican/Brummie accent, not American! lol Great that you found UB40 and are enjoying their music.

I'm an old git. Booggied to the guy in the 70s The lead singer is a white English man. From Birmingham if memory serves. Often got stick for "copying" a Jamaican in his singing. The song is about the Jamaican immigrants coming to the U. K to help with the labor shortage in the 50s. All the English men had gone to war, or died in ww2. It's about how they wanted to get their wife, (queen) from Jamaica. He being the king of his home. It's lamenting their warm sunny country in the rain and rotten English weather

Interesting fact, 'ub40' was the name of the original unemployment benefit form which had to be completed to get the allowance. It was a silent jibe to the government about the amount of unemployed black immigrants and the support they got compared to the rest of the population. A very unfair situation.
