Lucille Ball was one of the most amazingly funny actresses ever! I grew up watching this show. The younger generation have missed SO MANY great TV shows of the 50’s through the 80’s! Glad some are rediscovering them!
That's my favorite episode. I worked for a chocolate company called Le Grand Confectionary. The owner of the company bought that conveyor from I Love Lucy after he noticed it was being forgotten about and dilapidated by previous owner.
I love Lucy was okay, but Red Skelton Show and some of his sketches were brilliantly written and acted out, hilarious. I can remember my dad laughing out loud as our family gathered round the TV. I believe one of the greatest sounds I ever heard was my dad's natural laugh, as after a hard days work he was home with his family and being happy with things. I am so sorry that many people never got to hear such a thing. Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett show, one of the best variety shows ever created, was also another source of laughter for my dad. So many shows back then, F Troop, McHale's Navy, Sonny and Cher Show... it goes on and on. Gomer Pyle, Andy Griffith, Hogan's Heroes. There was even a Tony Orlando and Dawn show, you did their song not to long back, Tie a Yellow Ribbon.... I guess my favorite was Gilligan's Island. Bu there were great adventure shows also, like Lost in Space, The Rifleman, Mission Impossible, The Man from Uncle. Today, kids from babies on up are watching shows the teach separation and division. I doubt my dad would be laughing at todays shows, but rather come home in a bad mood, because the whole world is now in a bad mood. And... that mood for the most part, is brought to us by a screen as well, except on our devices, telling us what to believe. (Yea, I know. I write too much. Sorry. )
Loved this show when I was a kid and husband Ricky's laugh. Eddie Murphy does a great bit about ILL in his Delirious video. It's raunchy but done with obvious love. That entire video was hilarious.
You should have an additional channel for your reactions to the series because the film and TV production companies are stricter about complaints. Greetings from Peru.
