I love how at the very start Charlie lets loose for a moment (that is to say she's "loosing" her mind) and everything trembles. She's a big deal powerwise, she's just such a nice girl.

Lucifer is not exactly what I expected, but I got some things right. I was right about Charlie getting her bubbly personality from him. I figured since he liked the circus he’d have a fun personality, but I thought he was a completely absent father that wanted nothing to do with his daughter. I’m so glad to see I was wrong about that. He’s not a perfect dad, he makes mistakes, but he genuinely loves his daughter and wants to see her happy. Honestly he’s become one of my favorite characters.

Based on what Charlie says here and Lute back in episode 1, Lucifer made a deal with the angels to allow the extermination of sinners so long as no hell-born demon was ever targeted by the exorcists. Presumably Adam or someone threatened Charlie, and Lucifer made the deal to protect her

Lucifer doesnt seems scary because he nearby his daughter.. what would he do to Alastor if there wasnt a Charlie around? All i can say R.I.P. Alastor

Lucifer is not just "an hour away" - he just gave the Hotel and himself an hour to prepare. As it shown at the end he could literally just teleport there in a second.

A detail I enjoy is that when Alastor is in demon mode against the loan sharks, Lucifer is entirely unfazed by his display of power. Just a small detail but really shows the power differential between them. Also my theory, and one I’ve seen from others, is that Lilith is the one who owns Alastor and that’s why he’s helping Charlie. With his reputation it’s just odd that he’d be so accommodating to her and the residents requests. My prediction is that he’s waiting for a chance to make a deal with Charlie and use that as leverage to get free of his own leash.
