I will never not be furious on your behalf that your suffering was dismissed in your first pregnancy. I had friends who experienced similar things. I had a great OB who helped me a lot when I was pregnant and miserable, and I can't imagine being ignored like you were!

How do you know she's a great mom? Sincerely asking. She stages, films and edits EVERYTHING you see. You're not being shown reality. She needs a squad of people to help her with what most pregnant women do by themselves. Why not admire parents who go to actual jobs and don't get to sleep on the couch all day hooked up to an IV? @@tzuyuwu786 birth control isn’t good for period pain! Especially if you’re young, they shouldn’t randomly put you on that, and not listening to how you feel about it! I was on birth control too but I stopped it and got the medecine ‘antadys’ by my gynecologist and it’s a LIFE SAVIOR!

15:26 Yes! I'd never had a doctor who believed me growing up. I actually ended up going to therapy because I thought I was a hypochondriac. This year I finally found a doctor who listens to me and she referred me to a neurologist whos every bit as good as her. I don't know what I have yet but the thought that I will know soon is so comforting. If anyone reading this feels like there is something wrong and your doctor isn't listening to you dont give up! You know your body better than anyone else.

Funny reading story. My friend messaged me randomly one day asking if I was pregnant because she just had a reading done and was told your friend is pregnant, which we are basically our only friend lol, so obviously it ment me. I was like nah, no way! I don't want anymore kids. Well......a couple weeks later guess what I found out! 🤪 craziness I tell ya.

I've never been pregnant but i totally get how important it is to have good doctors around you especially after experiencing doctors that dont really care. When i found my current doctor, i actually cried and wrote about him in my journal because finally someone listened, payed attention and tried to understand me even when i wasn't saying much. And also, my family finally understood what i meant for years when i said my previous doctor wasn't good enough.

Nurse here, just wanted to give you a concrete answer, you entered your second trimester when you hit 13 weeks; the first trimester is conception-12 weeks, second trimester is weeks 13-28, and the third trimester is weeks 29-delivery/40 weeks. Can’t wait to find out what you’re having!

My midwife told me this was an old definition of first trimester. There are some professionals who define the start of second trimester as the first day of week 14. This is where the confusion comes from.

Wednesday my friend found out her twins are identical girls. She also found out she unfortunately has TTTS and is in stage 2. Yesterday they did a a surgery to try to help but it wasn’t completely successful. Only half of the blood vessels were able to be severed with the laser, she started to bleed and one of the twins started showing signs of distress so they had to stop. As of early this morning they have done multiple ultrasounds to check up on the babies and so far they have been fine and the bleeding has stopped and she is no longer leaking fluid from the amnioreduction. Whatever your beliefs may be, any and all prayers, good vibes, positive thoughts are welcome as they aren’t completely out of the woods yet 🤞🏼🙏🏼💕

@@linda57913 sad 🥺 i was just going to comment to say how good it is that we can detect and help TTTS now. My parents lost a set of twins to this in the 80's ... They had no way to know until it was too late. Thankfully they were able to have 2 normal pregnancies afterwards and now I exist which is cool, i guess?? Nonetheless if I were pregnant with twins i would be very anxious.

My kiddo is almost 2 and I swear I'm never having another one because I hated every second of being pregnant. I love her more than anything in the world but I never want to feel that way again. And I totally agree that people try to make you feel like you're overreacting and weak... it's really nice to know I'm not alone. Not everyone loves being pregnant and that's okay.

Hi Colleen, I’m doubtful you’d ever see my comment but I’m also pregnant, for me it is the first time and I’m feeling miserable and depressed and I’m told my nausea will only go away when I have given birth.. the only thing that is helping me through is watching your vlogs and I probably should stop looking at women who are not miserable pregnant because I felt so robbed of all the good things that they felt during their second trimester because I’m still waiting for that “burst of energy” and I’m already entering my third trimester. I’m also waiting for my nausea to stop. I’m also waiting for my fainting spells to go away.. it can be so disheartening but seeing you just as miserable makes me feel almost normal. THANK YOU! My first pregnancy I was so nauseous and dizzy and it was a girl and I lost her. My second pregnancy was a boy and I had no nausea, nothing. It was amazing & loved being pregnant. Trying for a third with no luck yet! Would love twins!! So excited for Colleen, Erik and Flynn!! 🙌🏽❤️👯‍♀️
