It's great you're talking to your baby! Studies have shown that they can actually hear a lot of sounds in there, and when they're born they can already recognize sounds and even songs. They say that if you sing a certain song a lot during your pregnancy, it can help to calm the baby down after they're born because they associate it with the safe feeling of the womb :) stay safe and good luck with it all, this baby is going to be so freckin' loved it is amazing!

This might sound strange but I actually really like the close up, out-of-focus videography of Colleen during the ultrasound. Feels so real and in the moment and makes me think of old home videos. And they'll be showing this to their kid someday and it's cute :)

23 weeks today, and I completely agree... with everything. I wish more women would talk about how miserable it is. I lost 30lbs in my first trimester from morning sickness. Now he’s breech and kicking my bladder so I’m constantly peeing on myself. I LOVE BEING PREGNANT! 🙄😂 and I’ve been talking to him before I knew it was a him.

I recently found out that I'm expecting a little one. My first Ultra Sound is this Tuesday and I'm only 18. My family doesn't know yet but I'm telling them after this appointment. Girl, all I did was puke with my first. i was miserable until about 5-6 months. i still puked constantly, but you get used to it lmao. My second pregnancy was much smoother, but I also had a 3yo running around so I was much busier too.
