The system sensor Spectralert advance horn strobes ugh I hate those things because of the tone they make but hey at least they get the job done to alert people that there is a fire and they must evacuate.
I would agree it’s unnecessary to have a really loud alarm in a confined area especially in a classroom but I think maybe like for outside in the outside of the building when people are outside it will be good enough for the fire department to hear the alarm from further away but in a classroom they should have like either chime strobes or speaker strobes
Nice! I personally don’t have any dislike for Spectralert advances. The only alarm I have the least interest in is Simplex Truealerts. Btw the Wheelock NS is the loudest alarm. Spectralert Advances are very common which is another reason why some people dont like Advances (Quite frankly, I think thats a dumb reason to dislike a fire alarm) And I am the opposite. I have only 1 ceiling horn strobe and 4 wall mount horn strobes out of 9 total alarms
I think that every school and other places with people that could have special needs that may be sensitive to hearing should have those types of alarms
The one thing about my school fire alarm system sucks is in the class room and the hallway and the school building and the classroom has a system sensor p2r every where and in the cafeteria theres a system sensor spsr and in the media center theres a system sensor spsr and a system sensor sr and the other hallway where the cafeteria and the media center is has a system sensor spsr too ans im sensitive of loud horns and the craziest part in the p e bathroom theres a system sensor spsr in there
@@boydalexander4652 I think the loudest fire alarm that I have is my wheelock MT even though the spectalert advance and the classic are loud but I put tape over them just to muffle them so they’re not so loud
@@Nolonger-q8f TICE ARPEY ABSOLUTELY HATES THE SYSTEM SENSOR SPECTRALERT ADVANCES AS WELL AND HIS OLD SCHOOL DISTRICT HAS WIPED OUT ALL OF THE CLASSIC SYSTEMS AND REPLACED THEM WITH ADVANCES AT ALL OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND THE MIDDLE SCHOOL BUT NOT HIS HIGH SCHOOL.
