Well done. I admire how hard you work at your young age. This is going to be a big advantage to you in life. And you made $800 bucks for working just over the weekend. Like a boss!
Tried Uber eats today (First day) at lunch time for 2.5 hours, in a nice busy area in North Ft Worth. Nothing like this for me. Didn't even make my gas money. I took one of those $7 for 12 mile orders just to take something, everything else was like 2.00 or 3.00 for like 5 miles. Will try a different strategy tomorrow of just waiting in a good area and only taking what is worth it say at least 2.00 per mile. Congrats on that tip!
I'm a couple hundred miles South of Phoenix, and some days/weeks the $1.40- $4 offers, along with high miles/time for less than fifty cents an hour is all I'll see. I've had Friday afternoon/evenings where I'll be on the app for 5 hours, and make $34. Or a Monday where I finally gave up after 3.5 hrs because I only made $17. Even or fairly decent days I might make $80-100 dollars. When I divide that by my hours worked I'm lucky if it is minimum wage, and that is before figuring in gas, and mileage. I just don't see (or very rarely see) those low miles, short time orders that pay good.
4:13 did you notice that dd reduced your base pay by 50cents per order on that stack? They basically stole from your tips. I will never do another stacked order for them until they stop doing this. I’ve heard in some places dd pays base pay for only one order and not the 2nd in the stack. That $95 tip was insane. Very cool. Walmart Spark is usually a wait. That’s why I gave up on them. Hahaha hills. We call those mountains. Are you still in town?
Base pay is $2.25, if you an order and then a second request later as a stack they will after the second one at $2. If you get a double order at the same time both base pays will be $2. Just their way of penny pinching and trying to milk the drivers as much as possible
I would love to see some UberX action to see how crazy it does here! maybe some of both to see the earning? Great video, and it's lowkey inspiring me to multitask in app like you do!
Hey Trevor, watched your videos when I was new to instacart and you inspired me to multi app with that and doordash... I just hit $900 in one weekend here in NC, thank you for the inspiration bro
Welcome to our sh*t market. Pretty sure Gig tubers have priority accounts. Average here is 15-23 an hour. Been here for years. Not buying it. LOP is rare here. Most offers are upside orders. And Scottsdale pays the same as every area. Cheap *sses everywhere. Zones are small.
How are you getting those high dollar amounts with such short drive time? Do you like uber for a living or what because i uber in az and im wondering how i make that much in w weekend 😂
It's likely the "honeymoon period". Uber will treat you good for about a month, or till you reach diamond status. In the early days I was getting regular customers which was great cause after the first time you can find their apt quick, get it done and take a new offer. Plus a couple of my regulars tipped over $20. Once I made Diamond status I NEVER get their offers anymore. Seems like it'd be in everyone's best interest to keep those connections.
I make only 10 dollars on door dash Goodyear az only get orders $5 for 4 miles 7 dollars for 6 miles never get 8 dollars or more very rare and wait time for order is sucks 🤦
95$ tip is crazy .. Im in Ahwatukee/chandler area I do doordash and uber eats part time and it's the best area by far to do deliveries Scottsdale has way to many apts plus when you have to pick up in old Town it's a challenge to find parking
Scottsdale actually has a strong ratio of home owners vs. renters. It's a rich area, so it makes sense. It's close to 70/30 percentage wise. Chandler is pretty close to the same. I deliver in a 50/50 area and it's awful. 80/20 is the best if you can find it.
Don’t forget to factor in you still have to Drive ALL the way back. So whatever the distance it Double it and that’s what you traveling in total distance per order
Trevor I've been checking out your old area. 😊 I used to live in Quincy I'm currently living at b South. It's way better Uber I was doing a lot of driving in the Taunton area. 😊 It's good around here but it's way better Quincy Braintree Weymouth sounds like you having good results in Arizona. I don't know how you deal with it I went there to visit for week lunch years ago I couldn't stand it was too damn dry
Here in Toronto, you'll be bombarded with $2 $3 and $4 orders to go 10 miles and with all these new immigrant drivers accepting everything, I don't see that going away anytime soon :(
It's my area it's Taco Bell. If the order isn't ready when you get there, they give you a free drink 100% of the time. Even got a free meal from them once.
Hey, when you’re doing shopping orders for Uber Eats what card are you using to pay for it with? Reason why I’m asking is whenever I try to pay with their pro card it always gets declined.
I believe it’s their Uber eats plus card. It’s been a while since I signed up for it but If you have an iPhone it will you set it up as an Apple Pay card.
Dude welcome to az. One thing I do is get a extra large cup of cubed ice at QT for 99 cents. I use that large cup all day and fill with ice and water at all the pickups.
One thing I’ve noticed in Phoenix videos are that the homes seem to look much newer than the ones in your Boston videos. However the Boston homes seem to be much bigger.
I take a break and watch these dash vids and ask myself why I keep killing my self doing lawncare I never get tips all I get are text messsges from people complaining and late payments and drinking to gallons of water in this heat and probably not making much more than u
I work in phoenix (the chandler/gilbert/mesa/tempe/scottsdale area). Bring a Gallon if water with you thats frozen and let it unfreeze through the day. I learned chandler/tempe first (upper/lower middle class) then gilber/mesa, then scottsdale. Rich peiple dont stay rich by tipping drivers well. Good luck
@@CamrynRae03 That is why I learned and now work multiple zones. I used to live in Tempe, it is solid, but by no means the best. Even with top dasher, 80+% acceptance, 5.00 rating, 97% on time. Knowing multiple common hotspot zones as well as hidden zones in different cities = more options. There was no summer slow down for me once I learned about 3 cities? Having 5 to hop around in with top dasher and the peak pay in Az is silly money. Just saying
Most of the features, details, graphics and functions for my in app navigation in Uber Eats have been taken out. The only thing left is the bare bones (basis) functions. It only shows turn by turn instructions. It used to show a detail map with graphics on the movements of my car driving towards the customer's location, but it doesn't do that anymore. Also, my car's location would have an arrow icon, But, it doesn't do/show that anymore. Also, when i arrive at the customer's location, it would show/tell me on the map if the house is on the left or right. But, it doesn't do that anymore. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app multiple times, but still the same issue. Any help to resolve would be appreciated. Thanks
I noticed that When you drive around For uber you get more orders idk why but usually for both theres periods of just Overwhelming Orders every 5seconds and then that dies and you get like an order a minute...
The app is likely to go off like crazy, when you need it to be quiet. It drives me crazy when I am needing to see where I need to go, messaging a customer, trying to take a pic, or speaking with the customer, etc, and it is one offer after another that I can't even look at. Then I finish my delivery, and the app goes silent for ten (or more) minutes. Just driving I haven't noticed a difference. But busy driving it can work that way for sure.
It'll be interesting to see if his numbers dramatically drop after the honeymoon period. Seems like apps will treat you decent, and send good offers frequently when you are new, but then most offers are super low, or the miles to money will be more like $3 for 9 miles, $6-7 for 19 miles.
lol, $7 for 12mi, “you’re high” 😂 I agree about UE needing to fix canceled orders. The problem is it’s easier to just cancel in app, in one second, which gets it reassigned, when it needed to be called in like you did to get the $3… sadly having to suffer the hold time/work flow of Uber.
True. Exactly the problem sometimes it’s better mathematically sometimes to unassign and look for orders instead of waiting 5-10 minutes on the phone for $3.
I noticed in most cases it's not worth even holding for the 3 nothing else is going on it's totally dead I will. But they don't answer the phone with a couple of minutes and resolve a time like I got to go bye
The main reason I call to cancel if already picked up/can’t make is so it don’t screw the next drivers. Hate going to pick up what you think is a banger just to find out it’s been canceled by 5 drivers
@@sajmp4eva243 they used to let you cancel through the chat or through the menu and it will cancel and you get $3. Now they removed that and made it harder if you click the same buttons as before you literally get nothing… seems like they are trying to avoid paying the $3 at all costs now. Calling is the only way now it seems
Bro went to a new market and still made more than some people do in their normal markets🤣. Great job this should motivate drivers to get out there and really explore your market fr!
Hi Trevor, I've been following you for a while, but I really liked your videos. I'm moving to Arizona in a short time, and I'll try to work with Doorsdash and Uber East because of the area. Do you recommend I move to receive more orders?
I’m making more here in Denmark, never really below 30 usd an hour (we pay higher taxes though) - but I don’t have any expenses since I’m riding an e-bike.
Hey when you see "45 Items" on random orders are you just accepting then seeing that and cancelling if you don't want the order or can you see the item count on UE before accepting it?
Bruh pheonix Is the hood you moved there just cause it’s cheap bruuuh there always on the news for crimes don’t settle there to buy a house after a months please 😂
Bro should I be door dashing/Uber eats instead of driving for Uber? I’ve been driving for Uber but because my personal car is too old to use I’ve been renting a car from hertz for $380 a week. I put in like 50hrs in a week to barely make $400-$450. Should I say screw giving rides and start picking up food in my personal ride? Am I doing this wrong? Any advice would be appreciated.
I don't know how you possibly deliver for two apps at once.. as soon as I'm "off route" for an I we order it starts notifying me, and I've even had it cancel the order I already had in my car, leaving me no address to drop it at. I also absolutely can't stand actually shopping for other people, plus I have limited space in the rig. I always cancel WalMart orders requiring multiple bags. I also look at the pay vs. time not pay vs. mileage. Phoenix was always consistent though
Typicly in Queen Creek/San Tan area. Went 2 Phoenix last wk & 5 orderz in a row were 3&4 bux 😭😭 gtfo there & went back home lol I'll nevr do Phx, hell nah 😂😂😂
Trevor, Don’t called raising canes fried chicken lol you just ate giant chicken nuggets lol. Still love the channel still support it. Just don’t call chicken tenders, fried chicken lol.
So I read that the solo app does not give IRS compliant logs, how accurate is this? I’ve been using the solo app for three weeks already. Any tips or info is appreciated
Do you think delivering on an electric bike would be worth the money savings and potentially time savings? Sometimes i see bikes getting thru town much faster than cars, not to mention quick front of the building parking. Tho obviously you'd miss out on those big orders..
I think using a bike, or motorizes bike could potentially give you an edge in highly congested areas. I know in my city, I have learned to avoid the University area (delivering by car) as it is too congested with pedestrians, bikes, and vehicles. Plus parking pretty much is non existent. By using a bike you can tap into this busy market, most drivers don't want. W/o the headaches of parking, etc, the offers are decent, and doable. Downtown is the same (not quite as bad). Other than those situations, I don't know that a motorized bike can carry larger orders, or go fast enough for long distances though.
