THIS BRAVE fitness enthusiast has found his happiness - despite living with two rare bone diseases. 22-year-old Christopher Hebert, otherwise known as CJ, was born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD) and Multiple Hereditary Exostoses (MHE). PFFD resulted in CJ missing his right femur bone, whilst MHE has caused painful bone tumours all over his body. CJ, from Kansas, USA, decided to have a Rotationplasty surgery where doctors amputated his right leg but re-attached it so that his foot could act as a mobilised knee-joint within a prosthetic. This has enabled CJ to lead a more ‘normal’ and ‘active’ life - he now thanks fitness and his fiancée, MacKenzi Eisenbraun, for saving him.

You’re so strong, so brave and such an inspiration. I have a joint disease that causes me pain constantly and prohibits movement. After several surgeries, I’m avoiding them until I have no choice left because of the risk of infections. I’m much older and I was 38 when I was diagnosed and became physically limited. Im saying this because I feel like I’m not pushing myself hard enough and I’m letting the disability mentally defeat me. Seeing you and others on this channel not giving up or giving in is such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story, I know you’ll have a wonderful, happy life. God bless. 💜🙏💜

Well she’s technically my moms cousins she’s now in her late 60’s and when she was young it was very rare. She has to wear a brace so she can walk normal.

You sound so inspiring even though your knee is like your foot, you can still do basically everything, everyone else can, & it doesn’t hold you back from what you want to do. You can lift weights & do exercises just like everyone else can, it might take some patience for you to Finish your workout because you to pick yourself back up & put on the prosthetic leg of yours but you can do anything that is possible. You can do so much. Wow that’s amazing & that’s how inspiring you are.

I am a 53 yr old lady lost my brother to ACUTE MYLEOGENOUS leukemia at29 he had beautiful wife 4 kids they would of loved to had any dad during their life ur cool. They missed their dad alot. The boys were mad and sad I have Epilepsy and multiple sclerosis. You are AWESOME and quite handsome not lying.

Whelp , I went the other way.. hated myself for being disabled. Socially isolated and poor. This fellow travelled the globe , does insane fitness goals and is married by now I’m sure. Yeah I just don’t think I’d ever of had his drive.
