I've got a wall in my garage with emblems from all kinds of cars. I used to work in a junk yard in the 90's and collected them in a bucket. I call the mounted ones the "wall of shame" (due to scraped cars). On the other wall I've put license plates up from different states and years. Keep collecting, good luck! Glad to see I'm not the only one with this idea. 🚗👍
That's a good idea with the plates from every state. I have a small plate collection from all of my former cars (the state let's you keep them during a sale). The Ford one started as just a way to store spare emblems for my own cars but has expanded to as many Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury stuff I can pick up at the yards!
@@DoubleSmackJacksSmackAttack i also used a few of the emblems to make clocks. A BMW one that I made I recessed the emblems in some wood and added the clock works and LEDs to light it up. Being I'm in my later 60's I've got a bit of time to tinker with my man cave. I'm currently designing a plan to be able to display my diecast collection, plastic models cars, bikes and other collectables that I've been stashing away since I was a kid. My favorites being my original hot wheels from 1968 that i still have today.
